strange thing happened to me at dinner - piled my plate with veg, a chicken thigh and a few fat free roasties. About 3/4 of the wya through I was full - I stopped and dint finish...I am definitely noticing more when I am full rather than carrying on eating just cos its thre.
There was still a litte room in my separate pudding stomach though ;-)People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Hi there everyone,
I want to thank each and everyone of you that supported me when I posted yesterday.
Your help and advice was invaluable and I felt that others cared. This site has some wonderful people on it, ready to offer their help and support to anyone in need.
I look forward to reading the various posts and feel more in tune with others, knowing were all in the same boat, hoping to achieve the same goal!
I am going to cut out the fruit and see if that helps me.
I will of course keep you updated on my progress, good or bad!
Cheers everyone! Your real stars

Hi I am thinking of doing SW never done it before but after reading the last 2 mags its full of things i would eat (I can be fussy). I cant do class only one near me is 9.30 in a morning and i am working full time, had a look online at books etc but comparing prices etc seems the online way may work out cheaper - 3 months and some mags etc thrown in.
Has anyone else done online is it worth it?
ThanksUpdating .................................................

Hi-I've just joined SW as I've had an operation that means i can't exercise for 6 weeks and 4 weeks in I've put on half a stone! Mind you I was really bad over easter-chocolates, 2 Chineses, wine and bread! I hope you don't mind if I join the thread for a bit of support and advice. I want to lose 19lbs in all. I joined a class on Thursday and have really enjoyed the diet so far-I just hope it works for me. Have already eaten a load more veg and fruit than I normally would and no chocolate or crisp or toast so feeling positive!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Cranny slimming world is full of fabulous things to eat. I had a gorgeous syn free carbonara for dinner, check out https://www.slimmingeats.com for loads of great recipes, my dinner was from her site. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Evening all!
Been really busy in the kitchen today
lunch was a quick chicken salad, had lots of watermelon today and dinner was pork roast(just ate the non fatty bits) with cauliflower... I also prepared 3 lunches for the next 3 days: made some couscous and added veg, chicken, prawns etc.
They look great!
Syn wise today I had the greek muller(0.5), an extra alpen light(3?), a galaxy cake bar(6) and some mayo(5?)
Stocked up on food too so except for some fresh veg&fruit to get during the week we should be ok until next weekend
Wish you all a good SW week!
PS. Gettingthere54 I hope your weight loss will take up again, can't see why not if you're being good

I can't post a link from my iPad, but basically you season 0% Total yogurt with salt pepper and garlic, put it in a clean muslin in a sieve the put a weight on top to force the liquid out? You leave it in the fridge overnight, then in the morning you should be left with a syn free Boursin type cheese. I'd only eat it with a meal as I know it's not technically 'free' but as there's no fat in it I figure it'll make a nice change from cottage cheese.
Hmmm sounds nice, might try that. I often wonder why paneer is so heavily synned. You make it with milk (so skimmed wd be fine I assume), brought to blood heat and then add a spoonful of lemon juice or vinegar. It separates and you tip the curds into a cloth over a sieve, the same way you describe. The thing about paneer is that it doesn't melt down if you heat it, so it's more like chunks of tofu.
I found a fab book in the library today, I even brought it home instead of loading it onto the Kindle: Skinny Meals in Heels, by Jennifer Joyce. Not entirely SW (uses various breads, and a little oil) but getting there, gives the timings for making food after work or preparing in advance!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
