Morning, well my day didn't go quite to plan food wise but I'll live.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend:) Need to eat some breakfast soon!

I have no more advice than what's been given already gettingthere, but I remember someone saying a few pages back that good or bad everything catches up with you eventually.

staying on track this weekend but am having pud later!!

Had a lovely ham salad out with beautiful hm chutney - only a couple of sins worth, plus 2 bitsa wipsa!

Today is a EE day as really wanted a cooked brekkie - had 1 1syn sausage, beans 3 huge field mushrooms and 1 big tom grilled, beans and a rasher of trimmed bacon. Oh couldn't believe I was allowed it on a diet!

No lunch as brekkie was at 11 then early dinner of roast chook, loads of veg and a few new pots - the fam will have roasties. Then bread pud make with left over hot x buns! I shall have a small portion with no cream :)

  • Is it possible to calculate the syns in something that isn't listed on the SW website?

I have some Tesco Finest Pork, Vegetable and Bean Hot Pot Sausages in the freezer I would like to use up but I can't find the syn value. I think they must have been discontinued but was hoping they may be a little better than some other sausages because of the vegetable/kidney bean content.

    For 2 - grilled its :

7 Syns per package/portion on Extra Easy
7 Syns per package/portion on Green
7 Syns per package/portion on Original

As per the syn calculator online (members only) using the nutritional info on the page you linked.

    Quick message for GettingThere

What's happening to you is EXACTLY what happened to me. I've now lost over 7 st, but at about 6 st down I stopped losing. I even put on 6lb in a week once and I did NOTHING wrong! I NEVER cheat and really stick to all the rules but the scales did not budge.

I came on here to ask for some advise and have a good moan. The general sensus of opinion was that I was eating way too much fruit. I ate A LOT of fruit. At one point it was coming out of my ears which isn't attractive :D I usually had 2 bananas a day, plus 5 oranges, maybe 3 apples, grapes, and LOADS of pineapple. It was no more than I had been eating before which had helped me lose 6 st, and in my view "free" is suposed to be "free"!

Begrudgingly I cut down on the fruit and stuck to just 5~7 pieces a day with a big bowl of fruit salad on a friday as a treat. And I've lost another stone after that. So, I guess you just can't eat as much as you and I would really like to once you've lost as much as we have.

I also cut down on the Fat Free yog. I was eating about 4 a day. Again, to me "free" and "unlimited" means exactly that? But, I was just being a greedy piggy because I didn't need 4 yog, I just ate them because I thought I could and I'd still lose weight.

All I can say is, I cut down a little, and the weight started moving again. Oh, and last weekend I ate BOWLS of fruit salad and put on 6lb. But it soon came off after a couple of days later.

Just something to think about, but I do remember that one nice lady on here said she ate them same amount of fruit as me and still lost, albeit slowly?

    Have a nice day all

    xx

After 6 weeks of up 2 down 2 up 2 down 2 I finally have a down 2 that was below the last lowest weight. JC_goody.gif What have I done different? I ate what I wanted over the Easter break - didn't go hog wild and would you believe I had no chocolate angelsmile.gif but ..... reading through the last couple of pages and thinking about it I have eaten a lot less fruit than I usually do aug08_022.gif Seems to have worked for me this time as well. I love my fruit and will continue to eat it but in smaller quantities than before - I love weightloss even more ;)

Well done to all the loosers and hang in there all the stalled ones. Your stall will end someday ;);)
