Well I had a day away with DD yesterday to get some holiday clothes for the kids (I'm holding off for another couple of months until I've lost a bit more!) DD had her choice of where to go for lunch and chose Pizza Hut all you can eat buffet :( however, I pulled out every bit of willpower I could muster and sat there drinking black coffee while she tucked in. I felt so proud of myself.
Foodwise was really good yesterday, all free or superfree food to make up for the red wine I had on Wed night - then I spoiled it by going to my friends house with her birthday present and allowing myself to be talked into more wine!

I have had about 50 syns worth of wine this week but I hope that if I am syn free today and tomorrow I might be OK on Monday for WI. Fingers crossed anyway!

loads did that at mine - they all freely admitted in class that they were going home via the chippy or kebab shop because WI night was blowout night. then fri was blowout night with booze cz it was fri, and saturday was a saturday and they HAD to go out.
This just tickled me :rotfl::rotfl:. In my class we have a lot of people who stuff them selves full of curry, alcohol and other takeaways and then dont understand why they have put on or sts :lipsrseal
Then on sunday they were hungover and ended up eating junk food. I often feel like saying to them "why are you here if you cant be bothered to put the effort in" . What a waste of £4.95 :undecided

My consultant was always keen to know why it was another gain and what I was going to do about it? I couldn't exactly tell her that I was so fed up and down that actually I couldn't care less about what I was eating and drinking :( Still struggling a little bit with this now but getting better.:o

WI today and I lost 1lbs which took me to my first award! 1/2 stone off sticker is now sitting nicely on the cover of my book :j:j:j

We were also supposed to have a taster session today but I was about the only one who brought something(I made fruit 'kebabs' and took lots of pots of sugar free jelly which I had lots of still from when T had a glitch on them and I'm not a big fan :o) Even the consultant forgot about it!!! So I was really popular today! :p I am actually starting to like my group and so far I come home in a really good mood and motivated to have another good week on plan which is probably what I'm paying for :T Bought some of the hi fi peanut bars today(eaten 2 already :o and they are really nice so I will keep the rest for my HE allowance and have them in the evenings as a treat)

    off food shopping now :D

PS. I tried to make breakfast muffins this morning but they didn't turn out right :o I think I'll stick to omlettes in the future :o :rotfl:

This thread moves so fast! I think I have caught up but there are probably many pages I have missed!

I was planning on heading to the shops today but I keep putting off going and now I have stuck some washing on, well I won't be going anywhere until thats finished.

I also need to meal plan as I am having a food shop delivered tomorrow. I have paid for the Mr T delivery saver so all my food shops over the next six months will attract free delivery.

The idea is that I shall have shopping each week and will ensure that lots of free and superfree foods are included. I thus need to meal plan accordingly so I know what I need to buy and what I shall be eating over the next week! I shall be posting on my meal planning thread if anyone wants to see what I decide on.

I was e-mailed details but its on their website as well - the info pops up somewhere??

It works on the basis that you pay up front for your delivery. You either sign up for three months or six months and pay a set amount in advance. This then entitles you to free delivery, up to one delivery a day, minimum spend £40. If you usually have a weekend slot for delivery (and shopped every week)then you save the most.

I hate * week. Or in my case it seems, * weeks.
Two weeks or so ago, I retained over a lb. because I could feel it coming.
Now, two weeks later it has finally arrived. And caused me to retain 4.4 LBS!!! It must be that because no one could really gain that much in a week without stuffing themselves silly full of junk. And I haven't been. I've been so good it hurts. But I don't see anyone else fluctuate that much just because of * week. So I don't know. Any suggestions?

This wed eve was WI for me. For some unknown reason I gained half a pound , that to some people may not sound too bad but to me it was bad, I did not deserve this and can honestly say that not one bit of chocolate passed my lips at easter time or since. The only explanation I can think of was that I greedily devoured 3 whole fresh pineapples myself. Well, they are free arent they?
So Thursday morning came and I decided to have a green day.
Breakfast was HEB with a scraping of jam.
Lunch was tomato and onion pasta with a huge side salad, lettuce toms and cucumber,
tea was a jacket potato and baked beans.
Drinking chocolate in the eve for my HEA and 2 pkts of crisps for my syns.
With a couple of apples, an orange and a pear in between.
So Friday morning I jumped on my wii to be weighed, and to my ABSOLUTE HORROR  found that my weight had GONE UP BY 3LB.
I thought, no way, not ever, what can I have done?
So I dutifully got on with it Friday and decided on a red day.
Breakfast was 2 small ww bread, dipped in 2 eggs and dry fried in the frying pan.
Lunch was butternut sqauash soup and a quarter of a quiche which consisted of 4 eggs, bacon, toms and a tub of cottage cheese with onion and chives.
Tea was 2 ww bread toasted without butter with 2 slices of bacon on.
Syns was 2 pkts of crisps.

Got home from work at 2.15 today after having a sachet of porridge this morning made with water and I have GAINED 2 MORE POUNDS!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Please someone tell me whats going on??
What am I suddenly doing wrong after more than 5 stone lost??
It's not a * week for me cos I dont have them anymore and so I am at a loss.
I have not stuffed myself with junk or otherwise but at the moment I am now really p****d off and ready to jack in.
    PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! :rotfl::D:):o

Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!

    46 weeks!

  • Weighed in this morning 2.5lb lighter! Might just be the difference between weighing in the evening and chaging to the morning but I still celebrating dropping below 12 stone!!
  • Gettingthere.

You've consistantly lost weight for months now. 5 stone is a lot to loose.
You're a sensible lass, for all things there is an explaination.
As you have gained every time you have stepped on the scales ...
Stop panicing and STAY AWAY FROM THE SCALES!

You'll be in a right tizzy come wi on wednesday.

I'm guessing that several things may be happening.
    1. Try something different, both on the menu and exercise wise. I think you're body has gone into storage mode, so it needs a shock. Otherwise it'll horde calories for when you do your walk/run.
    2. How close are you to target? (I'll come back to this)
    3. Believe it or not you'll be tensing up on the scales, (While your mind is fretting over what it's going to show. Stay relaxed... breath slow and regular, don't over fill your lungs, or force muscles to tighten.
    4. Make sure you breath correctly when exercising. Can mess up your blood pressure, therefore your burn rate and oxygen levels.
    5. Get an SAS perhaps from your consultant.
    6. BACK TO BASICS!
    7. Too many eggs, not enough of the [STRIKE]cardboard[/STRIKE] - I mean fibre. Ryvita, weetabix, scanbran... all bran....
    8. Remember just cause something was only 5 syns last week they may have changed the contents and therefore the syn value...

    Oh and...

:TWell Done. You haven't given up or you wouldn't be asking for help.:rotfl:
