Thanks tie, sorry to hear you've had pain. Mine is more discomfort. My GP described me as one of the 'worried well' but what you've said has put my mind at rest.

I've had a fairly good day, almost all free until I had a Crunchie tonight. I'm determined not to lose sight of the plan but I know I've a Chinese on the menu tomorrow but most of the rest of the week should be OK.

B: 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, few grapes
L: Open smoked salmon & cucumber sandwich (tiny scrape of horseradish) , pickled onions, few more grapes
D: chicken jumbalaya with loads of veg

I had half a pack - think i better count 3 syns just in case - even crosser now! Thank goodness I only bought 2 packs! At least its inspired me to cook a big batch of brown rice and freezer in portion sized bags!

I oculdn't find them on my old syn list so just based it on the g of fat but if anyone could check uncle bens express rice be much appreciated

What flavour rachb.?..The highest i can find is wholegrain with med veg 250gm pouch=6.5syns on EE

wholegrain on its own is 3.5syns per 250gm bag,

Lowest is long grain at 1 syn,or long grain and wild 1.5,or basmati 1.5...HTH.

rachb, be careful,if the ones you bought have sugar in,then chances are you have bought the 5 syns ones...the fat free 1/2 syn ones have aspartame, sweetener in,but no sugar.(as far as i know anyway)

    up to 5 syns ones= ,http://www.mullerdairy.co.uk/nutrition-information/greek-style-yogurt
This is the only thing i can find with a picture of the 1/2 syn ones.but it confirms they are sold in single flavour 4 packs.

I have the second ones - never eat corners are they are even more full of rubbish than normal ones. have to say I am very anti artificial sweeteners and whilst these are a nice change I probs won't buy anymore - will stick with plain yog and flavour myself.

Thanks again - it was basmati :) - so will count it as 1 syn for half a pack

I'm off out for a girls day with a friend today and we are having lunch out - fingers crossed I can find something reasonable. Having a free breakfast just incase and depending on what I have for lunch will determine if tea is LO quiche and beans or something else.

    Morning ladies:)

Have another spare 4 syns from yesterday so that's 9.5 extra for today. I usually do a kind of flexible Saturday but going to try not to go over my weekly syn allowance by using extra ones accrued during the week.

Breakfast will be yoghurt, banana and maybe weetabix. Not sure about lunch/dinner yet. Have a good weekend:D

  • Have a lovely day Rach. We're off to the park in a bit but it looks decidedly grey. I am sticking to the plan 100% this weekend as I really want 2lb off next week!
