That's a great idea arsenalbarnie. I did the same with my Trollbeads.
I've been to WI today and am back in target range at last! I won't upset you by telling you about all the offplan food I've had to eat to get back there;) It's strange that I've found it so difficult to maintain without dropping below my target. I'm hoping I won't find it too hard to get back on plan with enough 'treats' to stop the weight falling away again.
I got to target over a year ago and have never been in target range sincehave always been below but as I don't go to class it doesn't matter
. Its harder to maintain than to lose imo.
WI this morning and as expected have gained 1lb [.8 so rounded up]. Feel it should have been so much more as tummy troubles still effecting me BIG time. After not 'going' for 4 days resorted to powders which worked but have now not 'been' for another couple of days so more powders needed. IBS is a b**ch  had a lousy week with it, everything I have eaten has effected me. Only had breakfast so far and tummy is complaining, seems to be constantly in pain. Suppose I should go back to Dr but to be honest they're so rubbish they just fob me off. Oh well sorry for the miserable post
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Thanks shellieholly! I tend to make my spag bol sauce out of loads of blended veg (peas, carrots etc.) then blend in some tomatoes too so I can't "see" the veg but I'm eating it! (like a 5 year old haha!)
TakeItEasy - my heart goes out to you. I have suffered with my stomach for years. After many many visits and lots of "its just IBS, live with it", my doctor by chance had just been to a seminar of an IBS specialist when I declared I could no longer put up with the agony. Long story short, I had to stop eating cereal fibre (despite everything you've ever read, fibre really, really upsets the gut) and various fruit and veg...lo and behold I am a completely different person now. Don't get my wrong I still suffer but perhaps once a fortnight instead of being unable to move off the sofa for pain. Anyway, the moral of the post: don't give up. Just because it isn't a "terminal" disease, it is something that needs to be managed because it can make quality of life very very bad in severe cases. *Passes some syn free chocolate to cheer you up*0 -
Hello all,
Gosh there's lots to read through from this morning, have been looking forward to my lunchbreak though to come on and see what's going on!
Breakfast today was 1 slice of bread (o/h bought a "large" loaf seeded bread...), with an egg fried in the 1 cal spray with cress!
Didn't need any snacks this morning, popped out for some lunch and didn't really know what to get so I've gone for a pasta mug shot thing - not sure if they're "free" or what, but I had a memory that they were okay. A bit like the rice dilemma above though!
Does anyone know how many syns are in houmous? I love the stuff and know I'll be craving it if I can't have any!Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world!

takeiteasy, personally I would try a trip back to the docs, my mum had apparantly the same problem and suffered for years and went for several camera scans, it turns out her problem was a food intolerance and a thyroid problem. I think docs tend to call a lot of digestive problems IBS and leave people to get on with it! I hope your feeling better soon xxget rid of all the pounds by summer !!
weight loss 3/42 lb
Debt from 1st March:
Was -£8900 NOW-£5000 PAID- £3900
Get rid of the weight, pay the debt, then get myself a campavan! :T0 -
Thanks rachbc and maman - I struggle with fruit and veg because of various food intolerances, in general I don't eat big portions of any food, just like to graze through the day so will try and increase my superfree that way, I can eat carrots and celery and tomatoes which I can nibble on through the day.
edit: cyclingyorkie - thanks for that too, we posted at the same time. Can eat peas, carrots, celery, mushrooms, tomatoes, bananas, peaches - but if I had them all every day I'd be really poorly. Can't eat anything green and leafy nor anything exciting like onions, leeks or anything generally which has a flavour (boring I know!) but will make a concerted effort. To be honest, if I eat more than one fruit or veg a day on EE, its more than I eat nowterrible I know
Is it OK to have my 'breakfast superfree' around 10am? (aka my banana)
evilsquid - I saw one of the The Little Paris Kitchen and loved the idea of the croque madame muffins, couldn't find a recipe online so may buy the book!
Given the problems you have with food surely sticking with red/green would be more 'comfortable' for you? The basic principle behind EE is eating as much superfree as you can, and as wide a range as you can, but if this is just going to make you ill...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Hi everyone. I joined SW a couple of days ago and am sure I'm doing it wrong! Am following the book but am i really supposed to eat this much food? Would be grateful if someone could look over yesterday's menu for me:
Melon, small shredded wheat (B), summer fruit and fat free natural yoghurt
Jacket potato, mushy peas and huge salad (no dressing)
Chicken and veg stirfry
semi skimmed milk (A)
Had no room for snacks so I dont seem to have had any syns..is that ok?
I've done other slimming clubs before but I'm full to the brim on this and just doubting myself I guess.Grocery Challenge: June £92/£5000 -

Oh yes, Guppycaz you're doing it right! It's amazing how much you can eat and lose weight. It's all about eating the right things. The syns are there to stop you feeling deprived and giving up. Why not have some salad dressing? or a stir-fry sauce? or just a treat in the evening?
Like you tie, I'm over my target (that's my target, not target range so 2lbs below) for the first time. And you wouldn't believe the pasties, chips, fish in batter, chocolate, wine....I had to force down to get there!:rotfl:I've had a few stomach problems recently (off my food, feeling queasy, gurgly). GP did blood tests because of 'unexplained weightloss' but all came back negative. I'm going to have an ultrasound just in case. I'm wondering whether my system is just rebelling agaings non-SW foods? Did you have problems before SW or are they more recent?0 -

mug shots are indeed free - as long as they are less than 1% fat. the sweet and sour ones are my favourite! i add a little less water than the pack says though - it makes the sauce thicker
i believe there is a recipe for humous on the first page of here which is syn free but im not sure about the shop made varietiesI'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -
Has anyone tried the Muller Greek Yoghurts? I just tried the coconut one and WOW it is soooooooooooooo damn good! It says fat free I hope it's syn free too, if anyone can confirm that would be great.0
