OK, bit depressed today. please someone tell me it'll all work out! I have had a raging toothache (dislodged crown, infection, now have to have remaining bit of tooth out) for two days, and despite being really rather good on my diet I have gained weight. Not quite sure how - normally I am very in tune with my body and how it works. I can't even have a gin and tonic to drown my sorrows as the antibiotiocs I'm on are a strictly no alcohol type. :(

I've only got a few days before I have to go back on the steroids and I've not managed to lose a bean. Crappity.

Sarah999 the toothy anti-biotic types really are NO alcohol ones.. they make people dreadfully ill.. i've seen them try! Prob due to the mouth being such a germy place!

Yesterday I weighed myself and I'd put two pounds on, I was p'd off thinking it must have been all the carbs I'd had the night before then this morning those two plus one more have gone, the most refreshing days of recent years have been that last week when I thought my scales had broken

Sometimes I convince myself that my body is weird and will not shift the weight and I usually at this point give up, but it's silly really, If we carry on being good then the weight will go away I'm sorry your having such a crapity time of it :(

Thanks lamarsi. I know in my sensible self that I just have to keep on being good and it will shift, but my stroppy inner brat wants to stomp and claim it's not fair!

I know the alcohol is a nono. Have already googled it and both the dentist and the pharmacist were VERY clear....

someone mentioned that T don't have ff cottage cheese, it's the light choices one that is free :) I had the same problem but checked it on SW website, I thought it must clearly state fat free but apparently the lc ones are ok :)

tonights dinner will be salmon, smash(free right?) and salad :)

  • Morrisons are sellin Muller Lights 5 for £1
Tescos have the lush Muller light greek styles 4 for 61p - not sure I saw that right, so will check the reciept and confirm though.

And two bottles of wine for £5 - lower alcohol, consultant says 17 syns for the whole bottle - so when sharing - its under syn! Not sure if that was the wine I was aiming for.. but it'll do.

Chicken in white sauce with pasta and a side of salad for tea- maybe chased with a glass of wine!

    Another good day on plan:D

    A for milk
    Coffee, weetabix(B), nana, yoghurt
    Homemade lentil soup
    Strawberries, yoghurt, tea
    Omelette, cheese(A), bacon(B), waffles(5), coffee.

Didnt end up having all my syns yesterday, only 9.5 so have 5.5 in bank.

Have had both A and B and 5 syns so far, will have a curly wurly or kitkat later.

  • Can I ask about syns please?

I will be having a little bottle of wine this evening for 6.5 syns but haven't had any other syns today.

Would you deliberately have something else to bring the syn total higher or just leave it at 6.5? I don't particularly want anything else but am wondering if perhaps not having enough syns is a bad thing.

    Many thanks.

    !

Think they're 61p each or 4 for £2 - are the greek ones free? They're about the only yogurt I like.

Minnie don't stuff syns in if you don't want them, you should only eat if you are hungry. Eating for the sake of it to use syns is not a good habit to get into.

I left enough syns yesterday for a kitkat and a curly wurly but ended up only having the latter. Means I have 'banked' 5.5 syns for a day I really need them.
