There's an ad in the new SW mag, it's called Truvia a friend in the pub says it compares very favourably to "real" sugar.
I bought this and hated it. Only ever used it once in tea and it tasted really artificial and the aftertaste was awful.
It might be better in cooking but I don't want to waste food by trying it.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Well done Fluff - it's a fab feeling isn't it! I have my certificates proudly stuck up on the cupboard door in the kitchen.
I've been out with DD this morning and jogged our sport relief mile - I had to stop half way and walk for a minute but none the less I did it - then we took the scenic route home through the woods so a 1 mile jog and 2.5mile walk for me this morning. Now to make a big pot of lentil soup to line my stomach for my afternoon / evening out with then girls! xMortgage Aug 22 £280,000

Another busy week done and a beautiful day for my DH's birthday today. Of course, that means there will be cake when we go to the pub later. I've saved enough syns from the rest of the week so I should be ok. I'm lucky to be able to go to a pub and not have any desire to drink. I think I got that out of my system when I was younger. We met up with friends at that same pub on Thursday for a meal, and I did some research the night before and came up with a huge, filling 3 syn meal option (Wetherspoon's Superfood Salad (no dressing) and their Sweet Chili Noodles).
WI as well today, another 1.6 lbs. gone!
Not as fast as a lot of people, but I'm happy with that, averaging just under 1 lb. per week. I'm happy being the turtle.
I also had another NSV as I saw a Simply Be advert earlier and realized I'm too small to fit into any of their clothes. :T
Hope everyone has had a great week.Started comping 24/08/2012.

Afternoon everyone!! I'll condense it but:So tonight I am determined to turn this to my advantage with the following thoughts:
I am an intelligent woman with no less willpower than anyone else on this earth and I really don't have to behave like that.
I saw this and thought oh thank the lord I'm not alone!!
At the moment all the other aspects of my life are going so well, so why do I 'punish' myself by eating rubbish? I deserve to look and feel better than I do nowwhen I go to pick a packet of crisps up I need to remember this
Have a lovely weekend everyone
