Spring into Summer 2012 with Slimming World

You've got us!!!
Not the same I know but I think we have more support, tips and general chat on here than ever at my group. I think the reason people pay and leave is that the SW 'formula' is mind numbingly boring unless you have a consultant with the skills/confidence/personality/preparation to make the Image Therapy part interesting and varied.
I'm doing OK today: HM full English breakfast, snacked on 2 peaches and grapes for lunch. Tonight I'm out for a meal which may be a carvery (friends' choice) so will probably have a few syns later.
Very true! I need the discipline of being weighed by someone else once a week. I never weigh myself at home because I'd start hopping on/off all the time.
I wonder why Slimming World don't give their consultants more training in how to run these sessions effectively so that people WANT to stay after being weighed. After all it would surely benefit them as people would continue going to group for much longer if these sessions were fun.
I'm off to WI tomorrow night and hoping for a 1 lb loss at least.0 -
I usually stay but only because my consultant is really good, very kind, vibrant and and really interested in everyone there. I chose the group because of her reputation, even though it's not my nearest group. This is the third time I've joined SW and the first time I've stuck with it for more than a few weeks, I'm sure the consultant is the reason for that. The downside is that the group is HUGE by York standards!
I still doing okay, sort of:
EE today:
B: porridge (made with water) and berries. (HEB)
L: small Low-Low cheese and salad sandwich, (6 syns) FF yogurt, apple (free).HM Paella: Rice, peppers, peas, onions, chicken and prawns (free). 50g chorizo (3 syns)
Drinks: tea and coffee with milk (HEA)
Snack: small HM fairy cake. (4 syns)
Total of 13 syns, so just about okay.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

Vicki how does vertigo explain all the pain? I'm not saying you don't have vertigo - I'm not a doctor - and it does sound like the symptoms match the diagnosis as a couple of friends had it quite badly, but I don't know about all the extreme pain - never heard of that with it - so maybe there's more going on here.
Keep on at them if you don't feel satisfied with the diagnosis but sending you lots of healing vibes and wishing you over this terrible few months very quickly now.Mediterranean Mum

Hi All
Long time no speak. Hope you are all well. I stopped doing SW for a while as i wasnt in the mind frame for syns.
I gained 5lbs after my brother passed away, but have lost 3 of those and am only 2lbs heavier than i was before he died. I am pretty pleased about this as it means i must be on a fairly even keel food wise.
I am now at the stage where i am feeling re-motivated to start SW again , and today is my first day back on the SW train.
My menu is EE and is as follows -
B - 2 Linda Mcartney rosemary/red onion sausages, 2 slices of WW malted danish toast (Hex& small tin of spaghetti
L - Brown rice with turkey chunks & veg in teryiake sauce ( 2.5 syns )
D - Gammon omelette with side salad and sweet potato chips
S - 1 x skinny mocha nescafe drink (3.5 syns) , ww yogurt (0.5 syns), melon balls, blueberries & a bit of pineapple
Hope everyone has a nice day..:D
