  • Hi everyone, good luck for all the WIs today.

I'm not feeling very hungry today. Had a big breakfast and then meetings all morning so when I got back I was hungry and had a snack which means that now I'm not hungry for lunch. I'll see how it goes and maybe just have a small salad late afternoon so that I can have a proper meal this evening.

    Well done CH27!

I lost 1lb on WI on Thursday, I think I'm finally starting to get back into the swing of Food Optimising. :T

Friday and Saturday were okay-ish, I easily resisted having a takeaway with OH and the kids on Friday, and only went slightly over plan on Saturday.

I stuck to plan yesterday and so far today. I'm hoping it gets easier as I get into the habit of eating lots of SFs and SSFs with my free foods. :)

Evening all - I am in Birmingahm with work until Wed night so quickly logged in for 5 mins to chat to you all.

well my 2 bfs came round on Sat night and I had more wine :( so on Sunday I decided to go for a good stomp and did 6 miles in 1hr32min and burnt 1123 calories so that should help mitigate some of the damage. Missing WI today but I'm really going to try to stick to plan while I am away - have brought a carrier bag of fruit and some mugshots to keep me going.

Well done on the loss CH, and good luck all those WI over the next couple of days.

Thanks for all the welcomes and breakfast suggestions. Gilly - yes it is my first and the new year should be about 6 weeks after bambino is born. Equally I'm scared that if I don't start then, I'll never start and the 3 stone I gained before baby (plus the current 2 stone which of course some of which is the baby - some is just cake fat :o - and 3 months to go oops!) will stay on me and I'll go up and up and it will be so much harder.

I'll cook all my evening meals to slimming world standard to freeze and then do my best with lunches and breakfasts to start with and try my very best to stay away from the Syns before starting properly. Having 2 A's and 2 B's on Extra Easy should be helpful if I BF.

I'm a total sugar monster and really need to wean myself off it!

Helpfully my Mum has been doing SW and lost just over a stone since May so she can be supportive. I need to remember it is a marathon not a sprint, this is the hardest part for me I think. 4-5 stone isn't going to disappear overnight so I need to be sensible and think a 4-5lb loss per month is what I should aim for, anything more is a bonus. I'll probably just be cutting a beautiful figure if we decide to have baby #2 ;)

Good luck to you all, I will continue to lurk until I am ready to re-join you in the New Year :)
  • WI tonight and I stayed the same! Pretty chuffed with that as I was off work last week and I always struggle when I'm not at work as I always plan my food well for work. Had a few days of alcohol and bad food but think the zumba and climbing aira force helped!
Planned my meals for this week to help me stay on track, breakfast will be yogurt and fruit or museli depending on what I plan to have that lunch (I struggle with breakfasts...) lunch will either be sandwich or tuna pasta salad, tea will be chicken pizza melt, beef ragu pasta bake, pork and paprika one pot and baked bean lasagne! I CAN DO THIS!!!!!
