im not at my target (struggling to maintain that 32 at the minute tbh) but there are women here who got the woman of the year award and/or have been at target for AGES!! so by their standards, i still have a long way to go. I still have to remind myself every now and again that its a change of life, something that i dont have to keep but if i want to feel better about myself and how i look (i look back even at christmas pictures and october when i was on hols and think :eek::eek:) im actually embarrassed that i ever looked like that!

on a completely random side note: why is it with customer service sometimes it would be nicer without the customer? some people are just meaaaaaaaaan for absolutely no reason whatsoever :j
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

Fluff, 32lbs is about 6 x 5lb bags of potatoes, or 15 x 1kg bags of sugar, or 64 x 250g packets of butter!! That's a load of weight that you're no longer carrying around every minute of every day. :j

    I think it's a huge achievement, so well done you!! :T :T

I have this problem. But I have come so far now, why risk mucking it up. I go into shops and still look for the larger size section... :p My 8 year old daughter was giving me a right lecture today for doing it.

I did my stint in customer care, both at the end of a phone for a then UK boiler & tap company (winters were impossible when the company was worried about profit and the customer naturally worried about heat) and customer facing. I feel your pain. Not sure if I traded good for bad considering now I am a full time mum. Kids whine a lot more & slam doors rather than hang up.

Beanielou It's cheaper to get the mag at group or subscribe for a couple of months. This months has some excellent menu ideas in it, Fluff. Much more warm than salad as autumn is coming - and with it parrrtteeee season - Might be able to give Medmum a run for her socialising money then :D
stef240377 - I love that Kerry Low Low. I didn't realise how much more yummy than quark it is! Talk about a cheese fix!
CY - hope wi goes well.
Does anyone elses stomach start knotting up about two hours before?
  • I'm in customer service industry and we always say that the job would be great if it weren't for the customers!!!

I am counting the days at the moment until all the summer tourists go home and give me some peace and quiet!!!

hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j

I've just been to my last session of the "easy-gym", it's a month since I started so they remeasured me and I've lost 8" - 1/2" from each arm, 2" from each thigh, 1" from my waist and 2" from my stomach. I'm not sure how much of this loss is the gym or just SW and upping the walking this month but either way I'm happy - no wonder my work trousers feel loose.

I've made the beef bourgineon for tea out of the new SW mag and it smells delicious!!

    Hi,
Hope it's ok if I join in. I followed SW for 18 weeks earlier in the year and lost 1st 8lb, which I have maintained over the summer. Now I really need to get back on track and maybe lose another 1st 11lb. I kept dipping into this site when I was following SW, so will do the same again and try to contribute too. I haven't been to class but have a few books. Well done to everyone who has lost and for the useful tips. I think I'll keep track of my losses in my sig. xx

Joining in (I find) is a way of keeping yourself focused on the goal... posting daily reminds me what I am doing why I am doing it, and how stressed out I get... Welcome Aboard!

Dear Lord, hubby is driving me insane. Every night he's weighed himself and nagged until I have weighed on the wii too. - It reckons I've gained this week unless I lose 2lb in 24 hours for weigh in.:rotfl:
:eek:I have never had a gain before:eek: gutted:( and it's not weigh in till tomorrow night.
