I just came home from doing a supermarket shop and ate 2 Hot Cross Buns with my coffee. I feel so guilty because I don't usually eat cakes or biscuits. I bought them because everybody else at home likes them and I just don't know what came over me .... I just opened the packet and then my mouth!!:(:D
I have no idea how many syns they'd be but I'd better not have any lunch and a very small evening meal!
depending on size/reduced fat/luxury etc. they are ca. 8-10 syns each
I wouldn't skip meals because of it... I'd go for 2/3 superfree instead for today and maybe tomorrow?
chin up! could be worse!^^^^^ my 116 syns Easter egg
(still unopened I have to add!)

Hey all, started SW this week after a few mates all following the plan and loosing LOADS of weight!
Got the books off ebay as funds are a bit tight at the mo and can't afford the weekly meetings.
Any help, banter, guidance will be ace!!
Did follow the WW plan a few years ago so currently trying to shake their points system habit.
Hope to chat to some of you soon!

hmmmm im thinking im gonna have to make a large vat of soup to be able to do the 2/3rds SF...
hmmm would the likes of fruit salad for b'fast, and veg soup for either lunch or tea, with a sarnie work piglet? (its hard to think when im not hungry)
im liking the 2 HEA and HEB idea for speeding up the loss. haha at this rate im going to turn into a vegetable. oooh i bought loads of fish today toothat'll work nicely too... salmon and steamed veg and uh... something that ill think of later
yeah, thats perfect for breakfast and lunch, a sarnie with lots of salad filling too, or tomato and ham even,
the 2 HEBs is great, cause i would have one in form of bread or cereal bars, and the other at night time, in the form of a SW HiFi bar, saved on the syns too!:D0 -
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm in such a f**k it mood right now and have been for days. I've only been back on SW for a month so I don't know what's wrong with me.

i was on Xenical before, maybe 5 years ago, with very limited success because i will still eating my then regular diet, and afraid to take a tablet at times i knew i was really going to overdoo it, i have a had a lot more success taking it while doing SW.
I wasn't eating lots of carp to be honest Piglet, just very afraid, I think I will give it ago again when they have it back in stock, as I'm eating healthy and low fat it can only do good, in my area I think you have to have BMI over 30 or a weight related problemget rid of all the pounds by summer !!

We're a friendly bunch. Having also done pro points in the past I can safely say this is a much more flexible and user friendly eating plan!

its interesting to read how we are all different shapes and sizes regardless of weight...some people are heavier in weight, but smaller in size(and vice versa)..
my experience is that years ago at 5ft.7 i was a steady 9st.7..I was size 12 bottom and size 10 top..not too skinny by a long shot, but wouldve liked a wee bit more "up top".....now almost 15yrs later im 11st.2 and a (tight)14...i think im also 5ft 6.5 rather than 5ft 7 now as well.
I rejoined SW a few weeks back at 11st 8,because i was struggling to fit into size 14..refuse to allow myself to "grow into" a 16, still at 11st.2 my size 14 clothes are tight...too tight for comfort,I think I will have to get down to around 10st.7 to get back into size 12's...or maybe even at that i'l only be a comfortable 14...time will tell.
As for food before WI...I always have my full normal dinner,I eat around 6,then get weight at 7.30,i think as long as im consistent it wont affect the scales.
keep up the good work everyone,we are all doing great.Slimming World..Wk1,..STS,..Wk2,..-2LB,..Wk3,..-3.5lb,..Wk4,..-2.5,..Wk5,..-1/2lb,Wk6,..STS,..Wk7,..-1lb.

:j:beer:
well done getting there!! fantastic!!
lets get there together, i also have 9.5lbs to go to target:D
did you do anythign different to get such a great loss?
Hi there piglet,
Yes, I did something different.
Remember how down I was a couple of weeks ago when I had 2 stay the sames and then 1.5 GAIN  for absolutely no reason,? ( I can honestly say I have never cheated since I started ::D ), I cut right down on my food and then I wanted to throw in the towel cos I was so upset about it, well I thought right, get back in there, start again the same as a first week, eat loads, and I mean loads, and hey presto here I am as happy as a pig in ****
I was gobsmacked last night when she weighed me, I looked twice and almost did a jig :rotfl: on the scales.
Needless to say I am continuing with my new quest, just had home made veggie soup with fresh toms, had a banana and muller light for breakkie, and 2 ww toast with low low cheese on, DD has made a lovely hot chilli for tea so I will have that with a jacket spud and salad. Then for muchies its 1 bag square crisps, 1 bag ff and a curly wurly.
And plenty of fruit in between.
So we will go forth together and hopefully get our targets the same week, that really would be lovely. Spur each other on
Oh! and I won slimmer of the week again, so had a lovely big bag of goodies to take home too.
Beans, tomatoes, new spuds, kiwi fruit, tangerines, 2 bags pasta, 2 bags of savoury rice, l cal vinagrette spray, and a few other bits, it was great.:D
Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!
46 weeks! :beer:0 -
