According weight/height chart they have online I need to be around 11 stone! I can't imagine me at that weight. I'll be happy as a size 14 whatever weight that bracket might fall in.
slight confession time: i was at the lower end of my "healthy" weight when i was a teenager. i was also suicidally depressed and on the verge of an eating disorder diagnosis too. it most certainly was not a healthy weight and the diet i needed to keep it up was horrendous. i lived on a double espresso and marshmallow twizzle (3 marshmallows covered in dark choc with some form of sprinkle on) from starbucks for some caffeine and sugar to keep me going until break, 1/2 of a cheese and white bread sandwich at break at sixth form then the other half at lunch. then i came home and lived on the most meagre amount of spaghetti you've ever seen fried up with 1/4 of the small packets of supermarket mince and some herbs. thats what it took for me to get down to the around 8 stone that is a supposedly healthy weight for me to be :eek:0 -
Thanks shellie and WOW they are massive ammount of syns hmmm plot thickens lol
Evilsquid i bet we can all well i certainly can relate to crazy diets to lose weight when you think of egg, cabbage, veg, and the squillion others your so not alone there but thank god you came thru the other side of eating disorder huh, and found slimming world ive always had this dream of being 8 stone 3lb but as per usual i was nosing in slimming world last night and as i done the weighing in class you start to get an idea of heights frames and weights and to be honest 10 stone 10 sounds like a happy weight for me at mo millions of pounds off sadly but i think minimum weights for bmi can be crazily low when you think a lot of the supermodels are even lower no wonder they eat tissues lol xLOST 7ST 1/2LB July-groc chal £209/£300

i will never be 9st 9, and if i am, i would never be able to maintain it, like someone else said, if i get to the size i want to be, i couldnt give a stuff what weight i am at it. i still remember going to get a script from my doctor for meds i was on at the time, and she was as thin as my right pinky, and had the audacity to turn around and call me fat! she was practically anorexic!
does anyone know how to kick start the weightloss again? i am sitting at 1lb loss at best for tonight, but i was really hoping to have hit 3lb and my 2st target - sadly not going to happen. but ahh well...
hmmm... i have 3 easter eggs to eat now too haha! i normally have one from parents (we all buy eachother one) but ive since been given another 2 lol... ill be eating chocolate for the next year at this rate, or ill end up being a pie and having a whole shell and regretting it later lolI'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -

for me the best kick start was Success Express.
if you look at my sig you can see i had 2 weeks running where i only lost a half pound, then a STS, and the next week i did 3 days on success express and lost 3, i kept that up for a few weeks and plan on maybe doing it again when easter is over.
it is 2 X HEA, 2 X HEB, 5 / 15 Syns and instead of 1/3 superfree, its 2/3 superfree.
you do feel like you are eating LOTS of fruit and veg, but it does work IMO0 -
hmmmm im thinking im gonna have to make a large vat of soup to be able to do the 2/3rds SF...
hmmm would the likes of fruit salad for b'fast, and veg soup for either lunch or tea, with a sarnie work piglet? (its hard to think when im not hungry)
im liking the 2 HEA and HEB idea for speeding up the loss. haha at this rate im going to turn into a vegetable. oooh i bought loads of fish today toothat'll work nicely too... salmon and steamed veg and uh... something that ill think of later
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

I don't know how much time you've got to prepare before tonight but I'd definitely try to make something rather than stop on the motorway. I did that last Easter when I was getting to target and I was very disappointed. M&S seemed only to have salads with dressing all over them. I ended up with a really boring thing that was meant for a side salad.
If you can make something, I'd recommend a tub of pasta salad. You can put in anything you've got to hand. I like roasted veg but I often add a tin of red beans as well. I've used pieces of ham chopped up or tuna or just loads of salad stuff and some dressing or tomato puree. I just put it in a tub and take a spoon and have some whenever I'm hungry.
If you have to buy, I'd try and hit a supermarket and buy cold meats to pick at. If you have a Pret a Manger near, they do a nicoise salad where you add your own dressing. Some people at my group carry a tiny bottle with syn free dressing in to add to salads when they're out.
Have a good time, and drive carefully.
I put on 2lbs today at WI, still 1lb under target so I had to pay!:( I'm away over Easter so will eat whatever's put in front of me like a good girl.;)0 -
anyone has any nice Easter dishes ideas?
I tried to think of something SW and so far I have:
-eggs stuffed with smoked salmon, quark&chives
-roast duck breast(no skin) with chips/wedges and veg
-salmon fillet with creamy spinach&mushrooms(using some fromage frais?)
and now I'm stuck... was thinking I'd like a nice soup and maybe a salad but can't find any nice recipes0 -
I just came home from doing a supermarket shop and ate 2 Hot Cross Buns with my coffee. I feel so guilty because I don't usually eat cakes or biscuits. I bought them because everybody else at home likes them and I just don't know what came over me .... I just opened the packet and then my mouth!!:(:D
I have no idea how many syns they'd be but I'd better not have any lunch and a very small evening meal!0
