I have a baked potato almost every day for lunch at work during the winter. As far as Im concerned it's a SW staple - can't bear salad in the cold weather nad it's the only other thing in the canteen that I can be sure doesn't have added oil or butter. Doesn't seem to affect my weight loss.

Talking of which, 10st 7 today, the lowest I've been for a long time. My goal is 10 st 1 so just six pounds to go. Planning to have a real offensive now, and will not get thrown by easter (no eggs for us; I am doing a big meal for friends on Sunday and there will be an amazing chocolate torte but have already steeled OH and myself, we will be having a tiny slice to join in; the rest of the meal is syn free so will balance out, hopefully.)

  • Me and the OH are driving from essex to fife tonight and usually we would stop at services and get a load of junk food. can you please give me any ideas of food to take with us? i'm also hoping that if we stop, it'll be at one with an M&S or something so I can get a salad or sushi.

    morning loosers! :)

I'm still in love with my scales :D

having coffee with milk, rasberries and melon for breakfast(I will probably have another breakfast around 11am LOL)

leaving my HEXB for the KFC chicken tonight so no alpen lights with my coffees :/

need to plan some Easter meals and what to buy... Can't decide if I want to have a flexi day or not... I will definitely cook SW dishes and then see if I want to have some drinks and an Easter Egg(have a lovely Thorntons one put away and might be tempted)
On the other hand tho the dropping weight is soo motivating I want to carry on! LOL

I'd take plenty of fruit and then it depends what you like:

alpen light bars or a wm sandwich/bread roll made by yourself

I also often take a salad with me...

When we were at the airport I went for sushi and fruit as the best SW option

    hth :)

How about some SW quiche? Cut it into squares and wrap in greaseproof paper when it's cold - I took that in the car with me Earlier in the week when I was away with work along with some salad in a tub and a couple of hard boiled eggs.

Not sure which way you would normally travel but watch the roads if you are coming up the East - might be better doing M6/M74 then cut across from Glasgow than doing M1 - Newcastle - Edinburgh. Have a safe journey

hmm... can't find the KFC recipe... anyone got a link please?

I looked at SW website but it doesn't seem to be the one I had in mind... did I dream it or did it involve egg and breadcrumbs?

    Morning everyone!!!
the scales have sparked into life this morning.. dunno why I tried them as the battery had seemed to have gone kurput, it wasn't surprising after ten years of my fat bum getting on them every morning :/ I actually found it liberating not getting on them everyday :o
    anyway today I'm having
    brecki:egg and toast (HEB)
    milk for tea and coffee
lunch:trying to make roast pepper soup for 1st time
dinner: tuna salad with jacket spud

have a good SW day ladies!! (there aren't any men in here are there????)
