I remember someone mentioned Free pinapple ice lollies, what was the brand please?
Fruitini - pineapple only though.
another half pound down, lots of ladies questioning the scales tonight - all of us have been super good and it's been piffling bits off.
Hubby had SW egg fried rice and salad waiting for me when I got back from group ...yummy!0 -
i take it as long as you dont fry it in oil or batter, you can cook it any way and its still superspeed. like roasting or grilling etc..
when i get near a target weight that i want (i havent set it yet, i will do when i get to 12st though) i am gonna make a stonking fish piei loooooove fish, esp fish pie, but it has everything that is naughty which is probably why i love it lol

Would need to be around 8 or 8 and a half stone to do that I think. I'm only 5ft 1 so am a short !!!! I'm very bottom heavy, 6 years of playing rugby have left me with massive thighs and calves, even when I was a size 8 I couldn't get knee high boots over my calves!!!!Minnie-the-Minx wrote: »I have tried making chicken soup in the past but when I boil/simmer the carcass, the resultant stock is really greasy.
What am I doing wrong? Or maybe this is OK and I should let the fat set in the fridge overnight then skim it off before making the soup? I'm not sure actually but maybe I added some of the skin to the pot...
Many thanks for any advice - I love chicken and a chicken/veg/noodle soup would be a lovely way to use up leftovers..:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

since we're talking weights: when i started i was 14st 10.5lb and was a '15' - not quite a 16 but by no means a 14... now that im about 13st i find im a 14 but only in some things :S (im 5'9 btw) i have a slim waist but i have a butt and thighs. the only thing is, ive noticed around my knees getting slimmer, so im hoping it'll work its way up from there

Thanks.
I'm thinking of having a really light day tomorrow before WI.....last week on my first WI I had nothing to eat all day but it would be silly to do that now I'm establishing a routine with eating reg meals. However, I think it also makes sense to replicate last Thurs to get a true WI.
I will stick with a couple of mullerlights and fruit I think.
BTW does anyone know if I can substitute sour cream and chive with fromage frais and chive? We need it with our chilli but don't want the syns.kandfs_mam wrote: »I'm sure stock cubes are free now.Boy -- it's busy here today and gives great reading but need to move my butt now and make shepherds pies. I do individual small ones. I top OHs with potatoes and mine with carrots and turnip etc.
Oh by the way, has anyone else tried the Hi Fi lite bars, it's 2 for a HE? I bought a pack at class, caramel & chocolate, and very nice they are. I ate 2 as a HE after weigh in, but Ive stuck the rest in the freezer - out of sight out of mind.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Blackberry-rum: yeah theyre a really good price, the bottom of my fridge is filled with them lol
i loooooove those hi-fi lite bars... though i found the lemon hi-fi bars really salty :S i had to throw it out the other day mid bite
i might try this fish for a week thing, see if i can shift anything - after slogging all day and coming home looking like i was trailed through a bush backward, ive only lost maaaaaayyyyyybe a lb?I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

Hi everyone,
Had a wonderful surprise tonight at WI, I lost 5 pounds!
And won slimmer of the week too!:rotfl:
So 5 stone 4.5 down, by my reckoning I hit my target in 9.5 pounds time!
It's do able, cos off to Florida is 6 weeks time and I would like to reach target before I go.
Well done to everyone on their losses and STS and for the strugglers, keep on in there, believe in yourself and you will get there
Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!
46 weeks! :beer:0 -
Good evening all, hope everyone is having a super slimming day!!
I wanted to reply to some of the posts on here, but still cannot work out the multi quote, so I will try to remember everything I wanted to say.
Firstly to Piglet and others who have responded regarding the Orlistat, when I was on it before I was doing a eat very little diet, but was probably having more fat than I am now, so hopefully if I went back on it I hopefully wouldn't have the same urgentness as before :rotfl:
Czerniacha - I tried the SW KFC about 2 days ago, not exactly like KFC but still very good in its own right and would definitely make it again. I did it with SW chips, beans and corn on the cob. I also made some coleslaw to go with it, so I really was like having KFC, hope you enjoy it.
I didn't like the mint Mullers either, they tasted better from the fridge rather than frozen.
I thought I'd let you all know that I have a new favourite snack in the evenings - Velvet Crunch crisps, they are lovely, I got them from poundland for a pack of 6 and they are only 4 syns a bag :j
Today I went into a new 99p store in our town and they had Alpen light bars - a woohooo! I have one of these in the evening as half of my HEB and 2 Ryvita as the other half with 2 Tesco half fat cheese triangles as hal of my HEA with a coffee with milk in for the other half of my HEA - nom nom!SW Journey Re Re-started 25/02/14
Lost - 5lbs0 -
Good evening
So.......still really worried about tomorrow 1st WI and even more so since talking to someone earlier about SW. She told me I should be really limiting my potato intake, she said she basically eats no potatoes in her dietFor the last week I've eaten more potato than I have all year. Not a massive amount but more than I usually would, I'm a rice or pasta person usually. Not had pasta since I started SW last week but had rice a few times.
Please someone.reassure me, tell me it's ok to eat potato......as far as I can see it's a free food and you should be able to eat as much as you like?0 -
