Hi Everyone - feeling a little down in the dumps today. We've had almost 2 weeks of my sister-in-law and her family visiting and we've been eating out most nights and really desperate for them just to all go already so that I can get back to real life. Not that I don't like having them here but it just turns our lives upside down and not only from the food point of view.
And now we have my "biggest loser" friend and his family coming to stay this weekend and I'm feeling a bit out of sorts about that too. I think he's too much on a high and basking in his weight loss glory (which he fully deserves) to be of any real help to me right now. Most people here haven't seen him for a year and he's been building up to this limelight for months. I don't think he wants to put his head into the "helping others" space during this trip because of all the oohing and aahing and if I were him I'd be exactly the same.
And just to top it all I have to do a colonoscopy on Friday morning and not looking forward to it one bit. Starting from tomorrow morning I have a three day almost-fast. Hoping it will give me a good boost to get back on plan again but I'm not very good when it comes to medical stuff.
sorry for the whinge but thanks for reading if you didMediterranean Mum

Well girls (and guys) I am bouncing off the ceiling....
4.5lb off for me this week, then I won the raffle (big box of veg), then I was awarded slimmer of the week (big bag of fruit, fridge magnet & certificate), .... then I was told that I had been voted our group's Woman of the Year :j- I was given a sash, a certificate and a bunch of flowers and I nearly cried.
I am so shocked but delighted and a wee bit embarassed that I cleared the board and won the lot this week.Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000
