Although i have been sticking to SW foods the past few days meal planning as such went out the window due to a hectic schedule.

Today has been torture, went to the local agricultural show as we get in free each year with a friend who has a display and tailed off towards the food marque. Salivating over all the freshly baked focaccias available, cheeses, chocolates and didnt have the bottle to enter the women's institute tent for fear of never being seen again. So after a very quick speed walk through went back to the car and munched away on my home made chicken salad, muller light and apple. Snook 2 of hubbies mini sausage rolls which were 1.5 syns each. Breakfast was just some grapes while walking round and since coming home have had 2 apples as im waiting to get in the kitchen to start tea. Its looking like egg, chips and beans for tea as want something quick and simple.

Well I am knackered but we have an empty garage! :j

I've handballed 4 pick up loads of wood, metal, green waste and junk to take to the tip, then handballed it all off again at the other end. I'vedismantled the greenhouse as well and loaded up the pick up ready to take it to the tip again in the morning. I am tired, I ache and I smell but I'm delighted that we've got it done.

    today's food has been angelic!::A

    B - banana & peach
    S - peach
L - boiled new tatties, boiled egg, lettuce, tomatoes, spring onions, cucumber & 2 laughing cow extra light triangles (1/3 HEA)
D - left over tatties, boiled egg, chicken, peach, banana

I know dinner was a bit light on SF so will cut a melon later and have some of that, and probably a couple of ryvita with laughing cow as a snack.

Hope everyone's enjoyed the sun today. x

Evening all, my legs feel like Mo Farah's and he just won Gold in the 5000 metres. I didn't run quite that far though. The boy and I were on our weekly walk to see my Mum and as he's 6'2 I am more or less speed walking to keep up with him. Phone rings - Mum has had a fall and is bleeding [takes warferin] from a hurt shoulder which equals a very fast walk [even ran at times] for at least 2 miles to get to her. She's ok just bruised and a nasty gash which I dressed for her. She had fallen out of bed while 'chasing' some woman in a dream and she didn't even catch her :rotfl: She was feeling a lot better when we finally left her. Went on to walk the dog as well before going home so bags of body magic today but unlikely to be able to walk tomorrow :rotfl:.
Hope everyone has been enjoying the sunshine and keeping the faith :A:A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • I'm exhausted just reading your posts K&F and TIE - well done.

Sorry to hear about your Mum's fall TIE and hope she'll mend quickly.

Haven't had a great weekend and actually just writing it all off until SIL and family goes home on Tuesday as we're out for dinner with them tonight and tomorrow night so just going with the flow until they all leave and then it'll be a complete change of tact before Tony and his family arrive to stay next weekend when I have to be extra good!

Enjoy your nights out MM, I'm sure when your friend arrives you'll be really inspired by what they've done. Ask them for hints and tips and fav recipes while they're with you too!

I'm just back from the tip with what is hopefully the last load - branches and bits of metal from the greenhouse. I am going to have muscles like a Russian shot putter at this rate!

ETA - Hope your Mam's OK TIE. xx

And so say all of us!:)
    I'm dreading WI tomorrow

Be strong CH27 What matters is you go to WI, hear any bad news and start afresh. I've always found that any lbs put on quickly come off quickly too. Your body (including your head) will love being back on plan. One of the hardest things with eating out is that veg seems so thin on the ground compared with home sized portions.

    My EE plan for today:

B: HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk, strawberries
L: more strawberries! and maybe some ham and stir fry veg
D: Roast beef, SW roast potatoes and parsnips, runner beans, cabbage and carrots
Syns: wine, gravy and maybe a small yorkshire and/or horseradish

It's our Wedding Anniversary tomorrow so at least one meal will be off plan but I'll deal with that as the week goes through.
  • Happy anniversary Maman for tomorrow - enjoy your day.
