Evening all :D. Trying to lose the 3/4 stone I've put back on :o. Can anyone let me know whereabouts on the website Success Express is? I know you get an extra HEA and B - do you still get syns?

    Thanks.

Hi Gallygirl - I've never done SE nor know anything about it although some people here have so will be able to tell you more about it. Found this which puts it quite well though.

Had a lovely evening with friends last night, we were very virtuous as well because as one is a vegan and the other is doing WW before her hols, so we ate a fab veg chilli and drank green tea instead of wine *polished halo*. Had one smallish tortilla wrap with the chilli that I counted as 7 syns, ignored the Doritos and then had an animal bar with a coffee when I got home to end the day at 12 syns :)

    EE today:
    B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), banana
L: Egg and ham salad, peach
T: Thai chicken curry & rice (1), pitta bread (7)
S: Shape yogurt, nectarine, caramel Rocky (5.5)

    :)

You did really well to keep the syns down Blodwen. It's all too easy to let your guard down as you let your dair down IYSWIM.;) I'm sure sticking to the green tea helped hugely.

This may sound crazy but I was very tempted to have wine last night. I try to be alcohol free all week and save my wine syns for weekends but last night I so wanted to celebrate with Sir Chris and the others. Instead I had a small bar of dark chocolate to reward myself. I just checked the syns and it was 7.5 although that's a lot better than the potential 25.5 if I'd hit the wine. We all have our favourites and priorities but it gave a me a reminder of how easy it is to 'waste' syns if you're not careful. Definitely no chocolate for me today!!

    My EE plan:
B: HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, fried egg, baked beans, mushrooms, grapes
    L: chicken(less) casserole
D: jumbalaya (chicken, rice, courgette, onion, carrots, peppers, tomatoes and peas)
Syns: none planned, if I need a snack it'll be the rest of my HEB toasted with maybe a scrape of jam or spread.

    hello

been a lurker here for a while, finally joined my local SW group last week, have been doing ok, had to flxi syn though on sat as I had a day already planned with the girls at an Indian restaurant - all the food was already ordered and they couldnt change the menu.

My first weigh in is tonight and I Know you shouldnt do it, but my scales only say 1 lb lose - I am so gutted, apart from Sat I have been sticking to the plan. I thought the first week would be 3 - 4 lbs. I know everyone is different - I have a very underactibve thyroid - 300mg a day of thyroxine - so body very sluggish.

Anyway will see at 7 what their scales say. Whinge over
  • welcome huskypup - and good luck for your weigh in tonight!! I am always guilty of stepping on the scales at home before a weigh in - its generally not a good idea - but its so tempting!! Dont be disheartened if you are disappointed with tonights results - it may take a week or 2 for the loss to show. I lost 1.5 on my first week!!

Well after my 2 week holiday - one planned and one last min - to help me undo the badness I got up to on holidays - I went to weigh in yesterday and have a gain of 1.5 lb... I am actually ok with that.. I was so tempted not to go back to group - as i weighed at home and knew i had a gain - but I decided this time I would break my usual cycle - and get back to group - face it - draw a line under it - and start again! This is the 3rd time I have joined group - and I am determined this time to get to target!! Only 7 more pounds to go!

    Hi everyone

I'm determined to have a good weight loss on Monday - I really want to get back on track as I seem to have f*nnied about for the last 6 weeks. I hjave discovered cheats rice pudding though and it's fab - 1pint cold water, half a mug of pudding rice; simmer until the water's been absorbed then stir in 2 pots of muller yoghurt and sweetner to tste if needed. yum yum yum. I've made vanilla (nice), raspberry & cranberry (too tart) and starwberry (yummy) this week and it seems to be beating my chocolate / sweetie cravings :)

    Ps

    Morning,

Welcome Huskypup- I sneaky peek before WI too but tbh it doesn't help! 1lb is still a good loss, esp if you have an underactive thyroid. You never know though, you might be pleasantly surprised at WI.

Kandfsmam - sounds lovely, will have to try that.

Sarah - sorry, I must have missed your last post - great news about the scan :)

Starfish - well done for going back to class. It's so tempting to say 'i'll be good this week and then go back', but you've done the right thing!

Maman - well done on resisting the wine- although I'm sure Sir Chris would have appreciated you joining in with him I think he would also be proud you went for the less synful option :rotfl:

MedMum- if you happen to be reading this hope everything is ok - we miss you! :(

    EE for me today:
    B: Weetabix (B), milk (A), banana
L: L/O Thai red chicken curry, peach
T: KFC style chicken, jacket spud, roast veggies & salad
S: Nectarine, Shape yog, butter for spud (2), Freddo (5)

    :)
