Back from weigh in and lost 2lb, so that's the 1.5 I gained last week and .5 extra
The BBQ went well yesterday, well foodwise at least, everyone liked the homemade burgers, not many sausages were eaten so we have enough of those in the freezer for a few weeks, the SW deserts of roulades and terrines went down really well too.
We are off to Cornwall on Friday for two weeks in the caravan, need to get organised, don't really want a gain.
Glad the BBQ went well, and congratulations on your anniversary. At least you can take charge of what you eat in a caravan but don't forget to enjoy yourself. So 1 1/2 off this week and a total loss of 3 stone and 3 lbs.

Great news beanielou:T Well done!
Sorry things are getting you down Annie. Just keep persevering with the plan, that's one thing you can control.0 -
Maman - thanks for the help. The issue is my lack of appetite, im not purposely eating less free food. Normally im eat a hell of a lot more. Just been unwell and on a lot of tablets and the result seems to be all i want to eat is fruit. I seem to only be able to handle small portions of free food - small to the point it's shocked me!!!!! so it's definitely not a deprivation thing. Yep, im a syn nazi so always count them right. I have ate a little more free food the past couple of days sso have counted as EE
Today is
B - quarter portion of chow mein and fried rice (was in a rush and dint want to get caught out hungry when out). Shame lol. One portion of chow mein and fried rice has lasted me 4 meals?!
L - missing. Had 4 apples and a yoghurt , a kiwi and an orange.
D - home made szecuchan (?) quorn chicken with a small amount of rice.
Very little eaten today but totally untentional. I had to go to the doctors to get my sick line , then bus into town, then run to disney store to get a birthday present and hope i wasnt seen, then bus back home. Then i fell asleep after the apples and kiwis. I did have a cappucino (just flufffed milk) while waiting on the docs opening so thats my HEA
Going to have some HEB toast now with a sliver of cheese synned and a dairy milk caramel bar, and a cup of tea. And half a greapefruit and maybe some melon.
Blodwen - i have fibromyalgia and can't do any high impact, it just causes me too much pain and jarring of the joints, so i tried the shred and couldn't do most of the moves in workout one. I can't do star jumps and stuff. Personally i stick to cycling (very slowly lol, bad strength), pilates, walking and yoga.
Had some NSVs today - gutted my wardrobe out and found a whole load of stuff fitted that never had for a lot of years. A dress i bought for a masquerade ball years ago is now too big SHOCK! I also picked up a hellbunny dress for £6 in a charity shop so was well pleased with that. It's size medium and fits perfectly apart from my big knockers lol. It zips up but i have to put it on back to front and turn it round and do a bit of ummm arranging lol.
This is the pattern of the dress but it's all that pattern and swooshy out full skirt style. Obviously not to everyones taste :obut i wasa exceptionally pleased.
I'm off to stay with a good friend tomorrow so hav booked a holiday this week. HOw will i cope? it's the first week i've booked a holiday without actually being out of the country. So it will have been two weeks when i have my next weigh in. Considering lowering my target from 11 to 10-10 but dunno. I just don't think my brain has really caught up with my body.:p
WHERE IS MED MUM? !!!!!

Annie - every hour is a new hour and every day is a new day, don't beat yourself up .Learn to draw a line under it all and just start from scratch. Sometimes other things just have to come first.
You will get there, chin up.
Hugs to anyone i've missed. xxxxxxA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Morning,
Well done to the losers - seems to be a good week for losses! Annie - hope you feel better soon. Zippy - hope you feel better as well. Thanks for the response re. exercise- I am thinking of getting a bike but traffic scares me and I'm worried about being totally anti-MSE by buying one then it just sitting in the garden rusting! Still considering it though...
Beanielou - WELL DONE, that's a fab achievement!
Pleased to report a 2lb loss last night :j so relieved! Total loss 2st 12lb, and there's nothing to stop me getting those 2lb off next week so going for the 3st. Out for tea tonight with friends but it's my vegan friend who is cooking so will be a v healthy veg chilli and salad and NO WINE, which is virtually unheard of when the 3 of us get together! :rotfl:
Green today:
B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), banana
L: Tomato mugshot, peach
T: Veg chilli, salad
S: 1x Alpen light & 1 x HiFi light (B), nectarine, Shape 0% yog, something sweet for syns (5-10)

I know it's been said before but all your good work will definitely catch up with you! It's probably the exercise that's delayed the weightloss this week (physiology is complicated but someone will come along and explain it I'm sure). Just keep doing all the right things, stick to plan and exercise and very soon you'll be showing a good gain.
:TBlodwen, just think this time next week you could have your 3 stone award!:D
Wow! that dress is very striking zippy, no wonder you feel so good about both finding it and fitting into it!:T medmum was planning to be Scotland for her mum's birthday but I think it was just for a long weekend so she's probably back home now. I always worry when she (or anyone else) goes awol. I tend to think the worst. :wave:if you're lurking medmum.
I'm planning a fairly good EE day today. Didn't have lunch yesterday because I wasn't hungry and then starving by teatime. I kept going with grapes and bananas until my dinner was ready. I'll try to be more sensible today.
B: 2 boiled eggs, 0.5 HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: veg (either stir fry or LO)chicken casserole with new pots (Contains onion, leeks, carrots, celery, mushrooms and butter beans)
Syns: tbsp cornflour in sauce (shared with DH)0 -
Hello all - I've been lurking for a wee while and now I'm jumping right in and saying hello
I've dabbled with SW before and I think it's a really healthy diet...I've seen friends lose loads of weight on it and I did go to class and get all the books. Then I complained that I couldn't lose weight on it - truth is I've never done it by the book (waaaaay too much wine and not enough super free foods and things like that not counting syns etc)
I have to lose about 2 stones so it's not too much weight to lose - we have a holiday booked for November and would desperately like to lose it before that. My sister has a good bit more to lose (probably 5 stone or so) and I really want to support her...so I've told her we're joining a class - I found one that suits and we start on Monday coming. And we're going to do it by the book!!
(We could start this week but Hubby and I are going away this weekend to a really posh hotel that is famous for it's amazing food - so I'll get that out of the way so to speak before getting stuck in- it's our 25th wedding anniversary this year and we've had a couple of breaks and this is the last one - before the holiday in November)
So is it ok if I post in here?0 -

Of course, welcome!:)
I think having a buddy in your sister will be really helpful as will posting on here. 2 stones by November is doable if you are firm with yourself. If I were you I'd spend this week eating up (or feeding to DH;)) all the things that you have in your freezer/cupboards that aren't SW friendly. Then go to your class on Monday and when you leave write a week's meal plan and then shop for it. There will be some changes from your old book but not that many. Any questions, Just ask.0
