Just a quick question for those that are doing 30 day shred - What size weights are you using? I am just using tins at the moment but I want to get some weights. Thank you :)

    :oHi all,

I've been doing SW for 3 weeks now and have lost 3 lb - a pound a week. I'm fine with that, it's going in the right direction but have checked everything I've eaten - food diary with consultant etc., weighed and measured everything and am still slow.

I've heard a few people mention success express - but am not sure what that is. Can anyone enlighten me please?

Great losses from all of you - inspirational!

    :-)
A pound a week is fine - I lost all my weight in half pound or pound a week losses. The average is between1 lb and 2lb a week. You're doing fine. Don't even think about success express at the moment - that's for if you get stuck further down the line not right at the beginning - it is extremely strict.

You could try mixing it up a bit by doing Red, Green and EE days - I suspect you're doing EE as that's what SW seem to be pushing.

    Stick with it.

    Hi All

Hugs to Natterjack and TIE :grouphug: (queue dodgy smiley)

I am looking a little help. This week i lost 1lb despite getting a tooth out. Yay. I'm now 11-3 so 3 away from target.

From taking al the meds and not being so well my appetite has some what diminished. I am finding i have a real hunger/thirst for fruit but no huge appetite for free food so i am trying to use it to my advantage as a Success express day. It's not typically by the book but i am open to any advice. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot as i don't lose by green days so worry about the extra HEB

    Yesterdays menu

    B - 2 yogs, 2 peaches, strawbs, half a grapefruit some grapes.

Mid afternoon - banana, clementine, appled, passionfruit in a yog.

Dinner - very small portion of pasta with spanish smoked quorn chicken dish - hm - tinned tomatoes and mostly veg. Followed by another clementine , a tub of melon and an orange

Snack - cup of tea and HEB cereal bar

Then around 1am i had two rounds nimble HEB as toasted cheese HEA

Syns - one of the yogs 1/2, squirty cream on the strawbs 3/4

    Today

Brunch Very small bowl pasta with brocoli and caul mixed in with a sprinkling of cheese. Followed by half grapefruit, 2 apples, banana and a yog

Dinner - Small amt mashed potato, quorn sausage, broc, carrots and caul (veg a third of plate ). Gravy. Followed by strawberries, melon and an orange .

Snack - cup tea and a hi fi bar HEB

SHortly will have HEB toast with the rest of my HEA cheese (all measured very anally:o) and probably half a grapefruit. I understand from reading the leaflet , the third superfree doesnt apply to HEbs,

    Syns - gravy 1/2 , sausage 1.5, butter in mash 1m yog 1/2,

Now - having tea and a caramel bar 9.5 and a packet of meanies 4 .

WIll have toast HEB with a sliver of cheese (reast of HEA) in a bit. My times are all up the left at the minute

I count my syns weekly - my limit is 66 so will have hit that by monday evening. Weigh day is tuesday

Any help or advice? I always measure my milk and cheese and never go over and i check all my syns. I'm somewhat a syn nazi:o Am i kiding myself this is success express? its such a shock, the dinner i had tonight, i would normally eat twice as much as i normally do at the minute, so im trying not to let my weight loss suffer and gain because im not eating enough. My body does strange things.

    MED MUM COOOOEEEEEEEEEE???????:beer::D

Piglet - are you trying intentionally to lose more or is it happening accidentally? Have you upped your HEs and syns? You've done so well. I hope you find a weight you are hppy at:A

Hi to all, some fantastic losses here, keep it up!!!:j

yeah, its happening more or less accidentially:D

i take 2 HEX per day and 20 syns plus one flexi day a week

i am currenty 11.9 in SW, tho i am a few lbs lighter with my GP, i ould be happy to stay around this weight, or more so, this size, a 12:D

This can happen to start with kittylover, but a regular sustained loss seems to stay off better. Do post your menus on here if you'd like to.

I'm doing well today, in advance of my chinese meal later:

B: HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk and strawberries
L: stir fried veg with rice noodles
    D: flexi chinese

Funny isn't it? i was asking because i do the weighs at our group and there are a few target members who are continuing to lose despite their best stuffing their face efforts!!!!!!One of the girls is up to 3 "eat what you want days" and still comes in with losses. I've often wondered if it's to do with the stress being lifted as you're no longer trying to achieve a target? Have you stopped taking the orlistat?

Gosh i would love 20 syns a day:EasterBunI seem to have lost my crisp appetite and am totally into chocolate now!

Is anyone willing to comment on my Success express menu? :o
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Just a quick update, I went to that local butchers this morning, they do 4 varieties of slimmers sausages, 2 syns for 6, although not able to sell them as SW due to certificates not being given anymore. They don't do burgers but when I asked which was the leanest mince they said the minced steak waas 95% fat free, so will be making my own in the morning. Hopefully after the BBQ there will be some left for the freezer too. :)
SW start date 20/02/12 - lost so far 2st 2.5lb

I got the Davina weights from Argos. There is 3 for 2 on offer on her stuff at The moment. I got the 3 lots of 2 weights (using middle weight at the moment for shred), the exercise mat, and the rowing thing you attach to your feet.
