Why do Monday weigh ins come round so quickly?
Can't believe it, I've put on 1.5 lbs this week, exactly the same as I lost last week. The only thing I did wrong this week was visit the chippy on Wed eve after carrying hay bales for my dad, thought the exercise might've compensated the syns.
Went away for the weekend and was super good, made h/m burgers and SW Chicken Kiev from the May magazine, was really pleased with myself until I weighedSeems I get severely punished when I do 1 little thing wrong, surely it shouldn't make that much difference.
SW start date 20/02/12 - lost so far 2st 2.5lb0 -
Morning all,
Well done to the losers, welcome to the newbies and hugs to those who are disappointed. PS71 - is there anything that could account for the gain, TOTM, not drinking enough etc? If not then hopefully it'll just be a week behind and show next week.
Saying that, I was VERY lucky this week -got on the scales hoping for a STS and ended up with a 4.5lb LOSS! Not sure how that happened! (Oh and I got my 2.5 stone sticker, total loss of 2st 10 now) It was over 2 weeks and I was good for the whole of the first week and half of the second, plus felt like I should have lost the week before and didn't, but still in shock after some of the stuff I ate. Could have been worse, which is pleasing as maybe I really am changing my eating habits, even in the 'sod it' moments?! Anyway, need to be extremely careful this week so it doesn't come back and bite me on the a*se, plus OH reminded me that we're going wine tasting on Fri, so need to save some syns each day for that.
Green today:
B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), banana
L: Pasta, roast veg, nectarine
T: Soya mince lasagne (B and poss A for cheese), salad
S: Pineapple, Rocky (5.5)
Have a great day all

Hi, can I join please. I've been following a low carb, high protein diet for 10 weeks and have lost just over a stone (from 16st 9lbs to 15st 6 lbs). However, I'm finding it harder to stick too and DH has said that he wants to lose weight too so I'm looking for a diet that will suit us both.
I'm thinking that if I stick to red days then I shouldn't be too high carb...but it will be easier to cook for DH0 -

5lb loss for me this week, not quite sure how I managed that one especially after having a meal out the other day.
I have used my exercise bike 3 times this last week because normally I walk 6 miles a day doing the school run so I need to make up for that during the school holidays.
Well done to everyone else, I wonder what our combined weight loss would be over a month?Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
Hi Miggie. I lost a couple of stone on low carbing and it does work of course, but it's expensive and quite time consuming. This diet is much more flexible and easy for family life - try not to worry too much about keeping to red days. Once your body adapts to this way of eating you'll be fine eating potatoes and pasta again - it feels like such a treat!0
