Never frozen quark but I imagine it might split when you defrost. Flavour will be fine though but it might look a bit manky!0

Thanks sarahs999. Will give it a go. I suppose pate looks manky anyway so it should 'blend' in:rotfl:
Will let you know how it goes.0 -
Sorry to hear your meal wasn't up to much Annie. I always feel cheated when I've 'wasted' syns. I was only thinking last night (when I fancied a little bar of dark chocolate) that I was stupid to have eaten cake and sandwiches at the tea party I went to. I had a slice of toast (HEB) with a scrape of spread in the end. I've just bought a 400g loaf as I've been using up 'big' slices from the freezer so that was like a bonus HEB.
:Tguppycaz, great loss.
piglet, I've read about 'fine tuning' too. I suppose it's down to the consultant if you're hovering around a certain weight or finding it difficult to maintain. I know what you mean about 'too thin'. I had a nice compliment from a friend the other day that I'd not seen in a while. She asked how much I'd lost and said I looked well on it 'not drawn around the face and neck like some people do'. That's my biggest fear so I was delighted. Like you I'm a 12 now (although also wearing some 10s and 14s;)).
I've just put a SC full of bolognese on to cook. It's 10% mince but I drained it well so I'm counting it as free. Also a slosh of red wine but as it'll make loads of portions the syn value will be negligible.
Today's EE menu:
B: HEB toast, scrmbled egg, ham, HEA milk
L: ham& bubble& squeakpork chops with broccoli, onions, peppers and mushrooms
Syns: I'm doing a sauce with soy, orange juice, cornflour and a splash of sherry but shared with DH it won't break the syn bank!0 -
I've just popped on to say that I've just made the club salad from the new SW mag (Pg 30) and it is delicious!!
Today's food:
B - mullerlight; alpen light bar (1/2 HEB); peach; banana
L - homemade lentil soup; pear; pea pods
S - Alpen light bar (1/2 HEB);
D - club salad (lettuce, onion, peppers, tomatoes, boiled egg, new potatoes, cooked chicken, lean bacon; Dressing = FF fromage frais, FF vinegarette, garlic, mustard)Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000
Current mortgage £28,0000 -

Hi all I am still here, been reading but not posting. Well done all you losers :T and hugs to those in need :A.
I haven't been feeling too well since breaking up from school, I suffer IBS and it has been playing up big time. Tummy feels like its burning all the time and don't talk to me about toilet trouble [sorry tmi]. Also weight has been up and down and its adding to the stress. Although I saw a friend who I hadn't seen for a few months and she said I was looking thinner than ever even though I don't feel very thin at the moment. I saw myself in a full length mirror today and must admit I AM thinner than ever but the damn scales say otherwise.
Am trying to give myself a kick up the backside to knock some sense into me, ignore the bloody scales and stop worrying about what I eat all the time as I KNOW I am eating healthy and won't suddenly put loads of weight back on just because I'm not feeling well.
Sorry am waffling AGAIN.
Must be more positive, must be more positive, I must I must I mustIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Gooooooooo PennyLane:T:T well done you
TakeitEazy-concentrate on getting yourself better and when you are, then go back on the plan. Hope you feel better soon.
I had a really good day until I went to a BBQ this evening. I wrongly presumed the burgers and sausages would be SW friendly as the hostess goes to SW with me. Also the greek style yoghurt dip which was supposed to be free turned out to have quite a few syns too, I hadn't had any syns up until then so I'm hoping it wasn't too bad. Tomorrow is a new day.Grocery Challenge: June £92/£5000
