5lb loss for me this week, not quite sure how I managed that one especially after having a meal out the other day.
I have used my exercise bike 3 times this last week because normally I walk 6 miles a day doing the school run so I need to make up for that during the school holidays.

Well done to everyone else, I wonder what our combined weight loss would be over a month?

    That's amazing :T

Well done to you losers and hugs to those in need. As beanielou says - we have to keep plodding. Welcome new losers:)

Just back from class and the scales say a loss of 5.1/2. So well pleased with that:j. Will carry on and hope the weight falls off me:D.
    Yesterday was a red day

    b--tomato/egg/4ryvita(heb1)
l--lettuce/bacon/egg wrap (the wrap was the lettuce leaf)
    d-- fry -- bacon/mince/tomato/egg/mushroom
    sn--hifi(heb2) milk for coffee(hea) grapes/biscuit-4syns

    Today
    brunch -- hm bean soup
    d-- eating out --

I know what I am having (salmon parcel/lamb shank/veg) and counting syns for sauce and wine but I wont have pots so it shouldn't feel too heavy. Syns around 25? Might call it a flexi day and start counting tomorrow?

Good luck to everyone who has yet to weigh this week:T

On the odd occasion that we have had a meal out or a takeaway I don't count syns, I just let myself have that one meal out, I don't go crazy and pig out but it's nice to just relax and enjoy ourselves once in a while. Then straight back on it for the next meal.

    2lb loss for me,

grand total 6 stone 6lbs, i am tempted to try and loose another 1lbs, (at some stage, not saying i will this week!) even tho it will take me 4lbs below target,

more shocking than that.. my BMI has gone from 40.8 to 26.3:D

and i have lost 35.6% of my old self :o

    well done every one.

    Wow Piglet, well done.

My target loss is 6st 6lb as well so I was half way there but have slipped back a bit with holidays. I'm hoping to be a bit nearer target by Christmas with the aim of being there by June next year.... so I'll be on this thred for a while yet! lol

That's my philosophy too although I do think my SW mindset now helps me make wiser choices. If I'm out for a meal I'll be syn free and totally on plan with my other meals that day and then get back to it with a vengeance the following day. The only downside is coping with potentially not having a loss as a result. I used to find it so dispiriting.

You're doing so well piglet, would you be thinking of say setting your target to a 7 stone loss?

Some amazing losses on here today.:T Chin up those who are disappointed but if you stick to plan a good loss will come your way eventually!!

Welcome miggie. Like sarah said, you can eat carbs and still lose. If you did Extra Easy then you could cook a completely balanced meal (like meat, potatoes and veg) for your DH and provided you had at least a third of your plate with veg you could allow yourselves potatoes and still lose. if you chose to have less potatoes and more veg than it'll still work. Are you planning to join a class? I'd suggest that, at the very least, you go to a group once and get the books and the talk (£10). beyond that, you might want to keep going (£5) at least for a while. All help on here is FREE!!!;)

I had a flexi meal AGAIN yesterday, with buffet stuff at a tea party. So back on the straight and narrow today:

B: baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: need to sort something quickly probably cold meat and a few stir fry veg
D: liver, onions, mash, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower
    Syns: gravy

no, i am happy at where i am now, 6 stone 3 was my last target, and the reason behind that was with the 3lbs either way that you are allowed for your target range, i thought, even if i put on 3lbs, i would still have 6 stone off,

i suppose i COULD lose 7 stone, but its not a target for me (not at the mo anyways)

when i started i said "i will loose one stone in 7 weeks, and that will do me rightly":rotfl:

Blodwen - Thinking about it maybe I haven't drank as much as normal over the weekend, better watch that. Well done on your brilliant loss! :)

Piglet - well done on such a great achievement, you are an inspiration to us all.

kjtmidea - Well done, that's brilliant. Just out of interest how long do you do on the ex bike, I need to increase my exercise to see it if helps, I did manage 4x 15 mins a couple of weeks ago then let is slip last week.
SW start date 20/02/12 - lost so far 2st 2.5lb

I do 30 minutes at a time and I really do push myself to try and get the maximum benefit. I have ordered the 30 day shred so that will be here to torture me soon :rotfl:
