Hello all.
Have just spent early morning trying not to laugh at DH, who is trying on all his holiday clothes and discovering just how much weight he has packed on. He's such an idiot - I kept telling him to keep it under control and join me with SW, and he lost nearly two stone - then just stopped, for no reason under the sun. Now all his shorts are looking rather uncomfortable. And we leave on Sunday, and he's working up til then so no time for panic buying. *FACEPALM*.
Anyway. I'm in a good mood because we had an early scan yesterday and all looks good. I'm still rather gobsmacked; after all my losses I was braced for another. But it looks like the drugs really do work. Heard the heartbeat and everything. So fingers crossed - next 2.5 weeks are crucial.0 -
Have a lovely time Blodwen
And so say all of us! Looks like SIL might be lucky with the weather too. Summer is scheduled to start here tomorrow.:D
Sorry to hear you haven't had a proper diagnosis yet vicki. Try to do all you can to stay on track with SW, at least you'll be in control of something and it'll give you a sense of acheivement.
Well done for thinking about planning the weekend today mm instead of getting hung up on yesterday. I was only thinking yesterday about how I gave all my guests SW food when I was getting to target. I found tomato based casseroles were a good standy with piles of strawberries and raspberries for puddings (served with FF Greek yogurt). If I did starters it was things like melon and ham or smoked salmon on a bed of leaves and always put out a bowl of fruit alongside a cheeseboard so that I wasn't sitting there looking longingly.
I'm allowing myself a flexi lunch today as meeting friends at a country pub. The rest of the day will be SW friendly though (already had boiled eggs and HEB toast for breakfast) except mo my usual weekend wine syns.:D0 -

All,
Had my first WI last night and lost 4.5lbs!! Let out a little squeal on the scales!
I posted before about a skinny latte. Why does it have syns if its coffee (free) and skimmed milk (free HEA)? Does anyone know? xx:heart2: Got Married on 30/4/11 :heart2:

I've though about that and I'm wondering whether it's just the syns that milk has anyway when not counted as a HEX. I'm surprised they don't print it like the recipes in the magazines (e.g. free but add ??? syns if not using as a HEX). It's just my theory, not sure if I'm right.
Congratulations on your WI:j Result!!0 -

Has anyone tried the Lamb Bake from the new magazine?Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0

NO, but I did the chicken, potato and red pepper casserole and the sardines with potato bake (used mackerel) and they were both really really good. My DH was impressed.0
