Hiya--a newbie here:j I joined last week with my daughter--Ive got loads to lose--about 6 st but am aiming for my 10% first. Im on high dose of steroids and put on over 2st since starting them in Sept,,,they have made me diabetic as well so thats not helping.
But so far so good....Im eating loads and havent been hungry at all...
its the planning ahead I find hard...Im here there and everywhere as Im a self employed artist running workshops and doing markets and shows-when they havent been cancelled:mad: managed so far but my downfall has always been missing meals and then pigging out! Told my daughter about this forum so hoping she joins too---you seem like a lovely bunch and its always good to have support from others!:T

    hi Diane,

this time last year i had only started too, with (over) 6 stone to loose,

this year....11 weeks at target, 6 stone 5lbs lost

its so easy, Extra Easy in fact :D

you have to trust it, it will work, dont question it, (i did...i really CAN eat ALL this...and loose weight...yes you can!!)

good luck with it all, and welcome x

hi all, well done on losses and sts
WI yesterday, lost 1.5 lbs after putting 3 on last week. Very pleased, found writing down what I'd eaten really helped. Thanks for your support.:D
Lost 38.5 lb with SW so far, 56LB to go!:A
  • I have just emailed SW in the hope that they will refund me some money as I've recently found out I am pregnant. Paid £60 for online membership until Sept but the midwife has told me not to follow any kind of diet plan. I doubt I'll get any money back but thought it was worth a shot

Many congratulations! I'll be interested to hear how yo get on but I'm sure they'll tell you it's healthy eating not a diet and that you can have more HEXs. Sorry to be pessimistic about the money but let's wait and see.

:Tpiglet, that's great. I'm still trying to get rid of a couple of pounds I gained on holiday (although I'm still spot on target). WI tomorrow and I'm hoping for the best.

Is your midwife aware that Slimming World is the only diet that is reccommended by doctors when you are pregnant? They have a proper plan for pregnant women (I am currently pg and using slimming world). The aim is not so much to lose as to maintain/gain sensibly. She ought to know this. Unless there are mitigating factors about your pregnancy we don't know about. COngrats btw!

I looked up Aldi on line and I think the one you're talking about has just one syn.

    These were interesting too:

Make in Minutes Pasta & Sauce, Cheese & Ham, made up as directed, 100g cooked 26½2
Make in Minutes Pasta & Sauce, Chicken & Mushroom, made up as directed, 100g cooked
    ½ 6½
Make in Minutes Pasta & Sauce, Tomato, Onion & Herb, made up as directed, 100g cooked
    ½6½
Make in Minutes Snack Pot, Tomato & Herb Pasta, dried, 68g pot
    113½1

Sorry for awful copy but good on EE and Green.
