We had a long chat at group today about breakfasts. I swapped fruit & fibre for fruit & yogurt & i've stopped losing as well as I was.
A couple of people said the same & the consultant said to have something as well as or instead of fruit & yogurt so that's my challenge for the week.

Any quick and easy ideas, when on holiday in the caravan I enjoy a healthy bacon and egg etc but there's no way I'd have time before work, lol!
SW start date 20/02/12 - lost so far 2st 2.5lb

I'm going to try poached eggs on toast alternated with fruit & fibre.

:T:T that's great news from both of you.

I had hoped for a syn free day but did let a few bits pass my lips.

Hoping tomorrow may be dry enough for a day out so might go a bit flexi for one meal at least.
  • Well done losers - great work.

RFD, I feel your pain - exactly why I can't face the scales every week and now have low expectations for monthly losses.

Yesterday was doing great until we went off to my son's Officer's graduation ceremony. I took food with me but I also took food for the family and my son's friends. I ate one of their sandwiches and a few handfuls of nuts that I shouldn't of had. Then we got back so late that we missed supper so hopefully damage was not too great.

Made a nice breakfast discovery this morning. I've been trying to use up a huge vegetable risotto that I made at the weekend and have been having it for breakfast instead of my HEB. Until now I've been making a "cake" of it and topping it with baked beans, 45g mozzarella and a couple of fried eggs.

Today I couldn't be bothered with the different parts of it so basically just shoved it all into the pan on top of each other - rice, cheese, baked beans and then poured two eggs over the top. I cooked it up for a few minutes and then put the pan in the oven. The result was a really delicious fry-up cake and I reckon it could be made the night before and just heated for breakfast in the morning.

Today will hopefully look like this -

b - fry up cake (HEA)
s - fruit, FF vanilla yoghurt
    l - chicken salad (4)
s - 2 slices WM bread, 1% turkey pastrama, spreading of techina, tomato (HEB)(4)
d - cottage pie, roasted vegetables
    Mediterranean Mum

hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j
