As you mentioned the laughing cows rfd, I looked to see where the rest of your HEAs where??? Do you have milk as well? Personally I don't have anything on my toast as I'm too mean to waste syns on spread/butter.

I normally use milk for for hex a allowance, but yesterday i also had the laughing cow triangle and I thought it would be ok if i had milk in the hex a allowance too (i drink skimmed so am allowed 375ml) of which i use barely any as i only ever have about 3 hot drinks during the day (if that).

I have never tried the Extra Light, even before SW days, I alway ate the Light ones which I love, you can have 5 as your A instead of 6 which is not a big loss, try the lighter ones, they are not 'grainy' at all

Thanks for the tip.. Will buy the light version rather than extra light next time.

  • HI All,

When done on all the losses!

Had my first weigh in last night, I lost 4.5lbs! Im really chuffed. Would have been happy with 3lbs so was extra pleased with the 4.5. Hoping to do 2.5lbs next week to get my half a stone award.

Really enjoying doing this diet as its so straight forward and Im not thinking about food or snacking like I always used to!

Ordered the Shred dvd at the start of the week so hoping it will get here for me to start it on the weekend.

Well done Abbybryan, great loss on your first week, good luck with the shred, if you have not exercised for a while (like me) it is hard but it does get easier, I get up at 6am to do it before work otherwise am too tired at night.

Any of you ladies/gents? had any experience with the actifry? Mine should be here today, got it a a bargain under £100 at Makro. I am sure it said cooks with only 1tbs oil so would I need to syn that, that is for a full load of whatever you are cooking?

    HI All,

When done on all the losses!

Had my first weigh in last night, I lost 4.5lbs! Im really chuffed. .

:Tabbybryan, I remember that first weightloss when you actually realise that SW works! Great feeling and it's still with me almost 2 years down the line.

WI for me today and I gained a pound. Not too depressed or unexpected and it means I'm now spot on my target weight although last night's fish&chip supper won't have caught up yet.:o

I'll do my meal plan and shopping list later and I intend to try and be very good this coming week. Unless anything unexpected crops up I should be completely in control of what I eat (and drink:() for the coming week.

We were talking about those times when you're desperate to eat something quickly today at my group. Two items mentioned were Asda chilli. Apparently a can of SP chilli is 1 syn and vegetable chilli 174535.jpgis free.
Ideal for pouring over a JP (McCain's if you're desperate) with a handful of salad bits. For those of you who like hot chilli, adding in some extra flakes/powder was suggested. I know you can make your own HM ready meals but I though it might be useful for those of you who have facilities at work. I'm going to get a couple of cans to put in the cupboard for emergencies.

    My EE plan for today:
B: baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: eat up ham and 3 sad looking pears
D: gammon steak, tomatoes, mushrooms, peas with eaither SW chips or roasted sweet potatoes

Weather here is still dry but hardly summery. Planning to go into town later to browse the sales. Don't really need anything but love the feeling of rifling through for the 10s and 12s instead of anything big and baggy.:D

ETA: Asda is our nearest big store but just checked and Sainsbury's vegetable chilli is free too
  • thanks macpep!

I am quite unfit at the moment. i used to do Zumba and swimming last year but havent been for months. Been meaning to go back swimming.

Think the Shred dvd is going to kill me but it needs to be done!!

I may try doing it in the morning as im so tired when i get home from work. The OH is up early at 6.30am so hopefully I can get myself up then to do it!
  • Thanks maman,

I wanted to shout yay when i saw the figure on the scales. the loss took me down to the next stone bracket which was really nice aswell!

Sorry to hear that you gained this week, can i ask what you have lost altogther since you started?

That's a brilliant quick meal for only 1 syn from asda, may have to get a few tins of those!

This weather is really getting me down, can't plan to do anything on the weekend when im off work which is a pain. Really wanted to try and start using my bike!

Enjoy your trip to town, Id love to get back into a 12!

    my EE plan for today

B-HEB-Bitesize weetabix HEA-Milk and chopped banana
S-handful of cherries and WW hot choc 1.5 syns
    L-Jacket Pot with beans
    S-Mullerlight
D-smoked kippers, 2 x poached eggs and mushrooms

I have an actifry and thats a brilliant bargain you got, bought mine on offer at Christmas at £125 and that was good at the time. I had mine before SW so used the tbsp oil at the time, now though I just use frylight, I don't cut as chips but prefer chunks, I spray all over then cook a few mins to turn and spray again, they are a bit drier but as they're free its a good compromise for me. I did try a mince mix in it once but it stayed in lumps and was a devil to clean so not bothering with that again. Let us know how you go on. Its also great to take in the caravan :)
SW start date 20/02/12 - lost so far 2st 2.5lb
