cyclingyorkie wrote: »well I did lose last night - the scales wavered between half a pound and a pound .... and settled on the half:mad::mad::mad::mad: so I need half a pound to get to my 5 and a half stone sticker!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am frustrated - it is definitely getting harder and I'm still a fair way off my target.
My sis's target used to be 10 stones and to be a size 14. She is now a size 12 ( go sis!!!) but just under 11 stone. I think she's reset her target to 10stone 10lbs.
My initial target was 10 stone 7.5lbs - but for the first time I am having doubts as to whether I will get there - I'll have to see how the next few weeks go....
that is so:mad::mad: CY, same thing happened to me on Tues morn. The scales sat at stay the same, ...stay the same... then at the last second, clicked up to HALF ON:mad:
Congrats on the loss tho CY, small or not, its always better off!
well done, you will get your 5.5stone award next week;)0 -
i take it as long as you dont fry it in oil or batter, you can cook it any way and its still superspeed. like roasting or grilling etc..
when i get near a target weight that i want (i havent set it yet, i will do when i get to 12st though) i am gonna make a stonking fish piei loooooove fish, esp fish pie, but it has everything that is naughty which is probably why i love it lol
oohh... i might make mussels for my dinner tomorrow night - WI and also market day
right ladies, i must get ready to go to work so i shall no doubt see you all laterI'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -
Morning all - lovely to hear about all those fabulous losses. Well done to you all!
Yesterday was ok in the end but I did succumb to 2 mini Mars sweets (the type in a Celebrations box) - the sad thing is that I don't even really like Mars:o.
Today will be another green day with no bread - I think its slowing me down and to be honest I'm not really a bread lover anyway - its just convenient.
So food will be....
Breakfast - banana
Lunch - grapes, satsuma, apple, 3 ryvita with spready cheese
Tea - 2 Linda McCartney sausages, beans and SW wedges0 -

I'm new at this but isn't there something called 'Express' that some people use to give them a boost when they get stuck?
Success Express, why dont you try that CY, i did it a few days a week after my plateau,
it is 2 X HEA, 2 X HEB, 5 / 15 Syns a day, and instead of 1/3 superfree, you have to take 2/3 superfree, you dont need to do it every day, i did it 3 days a week, split up, eg tues, fri and sunday,
you do have fruit and veg coming out your ears, but it works!0 -
Morning everyone - I am feeling a bit better this morning so onwards and upwards for another day. I have a day's holiday today so am at home with the kids (which probably means I'll have a headache again in about 10 mins!).
All this talk of smaller dress sizes makes me more determined to lose weight. I was a size 16 when I got married 14 years ago and was just under 13st. I would love to get back down to that and below it but I really honestly can't remember when I was last a size 14 - I must have been about age 16. I seems to have shopped at outsize shops for ever, mainly New Look inspire & Evans and occassionally tesco.
I was a good size 22 when I started and am now a 20 so it has taken me 2st to drop 1 size. I'm now 15st 8.5 so I reckon that by 14st 7lb I might be an 18. My friends love shopping in the likes of River Island and Primark but I don't even look cos nothing fitsMortgage Aug 22 £280,000
Current mortgage £28,0000 -
Seeing as we're talking targets. My end goal is to fit comfortably into a size 8.
Would need to be around 8 or 8 and a half stone to do that I think. I'm only 5ft 1 so am a short !!!! I'm very bottom heavy, 6 years of playing rugby have left me with massive thighs and calves, even when I was a size 8 I couldn't get knee high boots over my calves!!!!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

the group my pal goes to were told that there is 7 / 10lbs in a size, but i have found it to be at least a stone a size for me, (lost over 5.5 stone, dropped 5 sizes)
i am happy enough to shop in primark now, i have not even ventured into river island for fear that nowt would fit me in there
what size to they go up to? are they a good cut, or is a 12 more like an 8?0 -
