Mediterranean_Mum wrote: »PS71, I could and probably did write exactly this about 4 months ago. I started at the end of December and lost about the same as you in about the same amount of time. I think went on holiday, came back and just couldn't get back into it. I had weeks and weeks of staying the same; putting on, taking off, whatever and in the end I ended up back where I started. The only think that I kept constant was coming on here. I read and posted every day and told everyone what was going on. It's taken a long time but I've finally found my mojo again and am back on track.
Personally I wouldn't stop going to meetings but if you're not staying for the whole session then it's a waste of time and money. Even if you just pick up one nugget of information/advice it's worth it and it will eventually speak to you.
I can't remember how much you have to lose but be kind to yourself - we're all here to help and support you too.
Thanks Medmum, I have the same opinion normally of the meetings and didsay the same on here the other day, it's just when it doesn't work I start to feel negative. I don't really feel we get a lot from our consultant at times. I want to lose at least another stone.Sucess Express means filling the plate with 2/3rds superfree foods and 1/3 free. Usually the ratio is the opposite.
Thanks for that, do you still have HEX and syns as normal?PS71. If you're finding it hard to stick to the plan, I think you'll find it even harder if you stop going. Just keep piling on the SFs, it'll definitely help.SW start date 20/02/12 - lost so far 2st 2.5lb0 -
Forgot to say syns are counted at the highest level across the plans where they differ.choose once or twice from hexa and twice from hexb
sorry , should have said earlier.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
Thanks everyone for the welcome - much appreciated - and for the answers to my questions, thanks so much!
It's so good to hear everyone's stories and I take my hat off to you for sticking to it when things get tough.
Am looking forward to Tuesday and signing up. Been to supermarket to buy stuff like fry lite etc.
While I was out, husband put on roast chicken with potatoes in butter - next week I'll take control and try them with fry lite!0 -
We have an actifry and do most of our potatoes in there, cut into bitesize pieces instead of chips. I have an extremely fussy 13 yr old and these are almost like chips to him but cooked in frylite instead of oil are great for me too.SW start date 20/02/12 - lost so far 2st 2.5lb0

Welcome to all the newbies, well done to all the losers and hugs to those in need [me included].
Well after nearly 2 years being well below target, this week sees me bang on my target after several weeks losing the odd half pound and gaining several poundsam seriously fed up now. I am as near as damn it 100% during the week but go to pieces at the weekend. Tried to rein it in this weekend but Friday was wedding anniversary so meal out and Tuesday is Hubby's Hawaiian Birthday so another meal out and !!!!!!ed if I'm sticking to salad when out celebrating, did have diet coke though as don't drink. Nothing planned after that so will have to be extra careful so I don't end up OVER target. Although saying that someone said to me yesterday and I quote " Oh for heavens sake woman if you lose any more weight you'll disappear". Made me smile as I'd GAINED again this week :rotfl:
I don't FEEL like I've gained as clothes are extremely loose and have to keep hoiking my trousers up but the damned scales tell me I have [hate them, hate them, HATE them] also :starmod: week at mo too. Fingers crossed for something OTHER than ANOTHER gain next week PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :undecided
Hope everyone else is keeping the faith :A:AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi everyone, well done on all the losses. I'm doing EE and I'm slightly embarrassed to say that at the age of 42 I've never eaten fresh salmon:o Can anyone recommend a recipe for me to try? I like spicy food, I'm not keen on pasta so probably something that would go with new potatoes or rice and veg. Thanks for any help.0

Put a layer of sliced lemon & limes in the bottom of an oven proof dish.
Put the salmon on top & sprinkle with black pepper & chives.
Cover with tinfoil & bake in the oven gas 6 for about 30 mins, it may need more time if the salmon is very thick.
I serve it with new potatoes & green beans of flake it into rice.

Morning everyone. Just done my home weigh in and delighted to announce I have hit my goal - hurrah! In fact I'm under it. 10st 0.2. For a moment it flickered at 9st13.8 which was even more exciting! If I weren't pregnant I would happily head for 9.7, but as it is I will add a little more food and try to keep it around this mark.0
