I had smash pizza for dinner, has anyone else tried them? It was really nice, I will definitely be making them again.Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0

Ah dyno rod. Haven't had it for ages. Lovely stuff. Terrible wind though.
God it made a massive amount. DH and I had 2 bowls each at lunchtime and then I froze 8 more portions.
As to the wind - not a whiff yet!!:rotfl::rotfl:Knowing my luck it will save itself until tomorrow morning when I will be socialising!!0 -
Had a good day.:j
Oatbran and banana and grapes for brekkie.
Lunch was dyno-rod soup
Evening meal was - baked new potatoes (in frylite) with rosemary
Salmon steaks and loads of salad.
Fresh raspberries, a meringue and low fat
custard left from last night's rhubarb.
I have cycled a couple of miles each day this week and am also drinking much more water as I "maintained" last week and it's bothering me.0 -
Is smash free?
Anyone know about this smash quiche Ive heard about?I had smash pizza for dinner, has anyone else tried them? It was really nice, I will definitely be making them again.
I think that provided you don't add any milk or butter or anything Smash is free. People in my group reckon that Asda SP mash is even nicer than branded Smash but I've never tried it myself. I do my quiche with real mashed potatoes and it's great (and free).0 -
Good morning everyone!
Yes smash is free if made with water, I'll have to try the Asda one next time. My other half is now doing Slimming world with me, he will be weighing at home every week, he works nights so it is a bit more confusing but he is doing ok so far.
I am going to a party tonight, will probably drink my own body weight in vodka  but food wise I will be eating before I go and then taking a load of fruit and other healthy snacks with me. I won't be expecting a loss next week though!Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
Hi everyone, I am going to go to my first Slimming World meeting on Tuesday. I lost my Mum suddenly last year and have put on so much weight, - I know I need to stop and get a grip of it now.
I've bought the magazine and been trawling the net for tips - now that I've made the decision, I want to know everything now! From what I've seen so far, it seems like Extra Easy will be the plan for me. But you all seem such a helpful lot I wonder if you can help me with a couple of questions?
Firstly, what will I get with the starter pack - and what else do I need to buy that first week (bearing in mind I love books and can become a bit obsessive once I set my mind to something!)
Second, are Muller light fruit yogurts OK to eat?
I won't bother asking about the gingerbread man I've just eaten - I think I know the answer!!!
Thanks so much,0 -
 kitty and well done on making your decision. I'm sure you won't regret it.
To answer one of your questions, most basic Mullerlight yogurts are syn free. There are exceptions like the cheesecake ones. This brings me on to another of your questions which is what you'll get when you join. You'll have access to the SW website which lists foods with their syn values. As well as that you'll get a book which explains the plans (and also lists some foods). You'll have a few other bits of reading material too (healthy weight ranges, exercise etc) but the book and the website are the most important IMO.
Beyond that you don't need to buy anything directly from SW (which is what I assume you meant). There is a shop at the group meetings which sells recipe books but they are mostly compilations of things from the magazines and there are plenty of recipes available on here, by googling and from the website. Most of us also adapt our own recipes to make them SW friendly. I don't eat cereal bars but they are on sale too along with scan bran (again which I've never eaten) which is a crispbread that I'm told tastes like cardboard!
Hopefully that's enough info to get you started, but ask away, this is a lovely thread full of friendly advice and support.0 -
Hope everyone's having a good day. Still raining here, very miserable.:(
My EE menu:
B: 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: not hungry yet but I will have a banana (looking a bit past it) and some ham and maybe pickles or salad when I'm ready.pork casserole with rice (includes onion, mushrooms, carrots and beansprouts)
Syns: weekend wine:j sauce for casserole has oil, sherry and honey (tbsp of each) in but I'm sharing it with DH so shouldn't do too much harm and I am trying to maintain not lose.0 -
