:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Oh don't we know that feeling! Sometimes fruit and yogurt just aren't substantial enough. Last night I was picking at cold meat to keep me away from the crisps. I find cold, new potatoes quite good.
Just checking which plan you're on mm? If it's EE then having a sandwich (2 small slices of wholemeal) is OK for your HEB for the day isn't it? You're doing really well this week. There's nothing wrong with feeling hungry aa long as you stuff your gob with the right stuff!;)
Yes it's EE Maman and I didn't have an HEB on the plan for today yet so that's worked out nicely. Lunch will be late as I have to go out to a meeting now and actually not hungry anymore!
Enjoy your lunch with your DD.Pregnancy nausea started in earnest this morning - I had to get a lady to give me her seat on the train as I felt so bad. I've never really had it before so I'm hoping that's a good sign. On the down side, the only thing that relieves it is eating something. Gah.... think I might find some of those ginger sweets from H&B - wonder how many syns they are?
Oooh good signs Sarah - here's hoping xxx
I wonder if drinking ginger ale would have the same effect as eating ginger sweets and what the difference in syns would be.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
I suppose I could look for diet ginger ale? Will go for a wander at lunchtime if I feel up to it. I had slightly planned on going to the sick room adn trying to get an hour's kip - the steroids I have to take are keeping me awake. Basically once I wake up in the night for a wee (usually between 3 and 4) that's it. No more sleep. It's infuriating.
Confused, you can only do Alizonne by going to one of their clinics. It involves all sorts of weird body hoovering as well to stop you getting saggy skin as you loose so much in such a short time. I manage to get sachets from people selling them on the forum and do a kind of DIY version at home. You can read about it here: http://www.alizonne.co.uk/0 -
I am guilty of having one or two glasses depending on how my day at work has went but with the box sitting there, I know that is all I have to last me a week, so I am keeping it for the weekend, was hard last night but I managed
Well doneIt's so easy to have one or two glasses of wine/biscuits/packets of crisps depending on your vice, but seeing them there is a great way of keeping track. The day/night out next weekend is an A-Z pub crawl for my friend's 30th, so 26 drinks  I think everyone else will be having a half in each place but since the birthday girl and I don't drink beer we've worked out we could share a small glass of wine each time - still works out at over 2 bottles and 58.5 syns each - will have to save plenty of syns that week...
Just had one of the rocky road HiFi light bars. When I took it out of the box I could see why you get 2 for a HEB - they are TINY! Tbh though having eaten it I think a bigger one would be too sickly, v nice and good to combat a sweet craving though!2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Hi All,
This is my first day on the SW diet and after a few years of doing WW Im trying to get to grips with a new set of 'rules'! Looks like a good plan from what I read last night.
Ive been invited out to Wetherspoons for a bday lunch today and really dont know what to have. What low syned meals would you guys reccommend?

Welcome Abby
A lot of stuff in Wetherspoons is horrendous synwise but I know the Thai noodle salad is 9.5. i went a few weeks ago and had chicken tikka masala which isn't bad for 18.5 including all the trimmings (most of the curries aren't too bad and Thurs is curry club day). The syns online says crayfish salad is 8 and Scotch broth is 10 but I don't remember seeing those on the menu. If you have anything in particular in mind let us know and I can look it up for you2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Good for you, I have also done WW but like SW much much better, I am not a lover of Wetherspoons food although when I do go I tend to get steak with jacket potato & veg or salad. I am sure there is a thread on minimims (can't post link as I am at work & minimims is classed as a blog :rotfl:) . I don't have my book here so not sure if Wetherspoon syns is in the book but I am sure someone who can be of more help with come along soon. Good luck x:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Hi both
Ive finally found how to search for restaurants on the SW website!yay
Am I right in thinking that Veggie sausage, chips and beans is only 4?
We are always going for work meals in Wetherspoons and it's really shocked me at how bad the syns are!
Hope you don't mind me joining you on this forum, hoping it will help!
Oh, another question, is there a forum on the SW website as I can't seem to find anything.
Thanks again guys

They seem to contradict themselves re. the noodles (I got 9.5 from syns online) - that may be including the chicken but can't quite see how that would be +8.5 syns :undecided2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]
