Just a quick one and then I'll read through and catch up. Someone asked me (can't remember who, sorry) yesterday what Alizonne was. It's a medical weight loss program that guarantees v quick results - it's quite full on but it's how i lost my weight in the first place after years of faffing about with low carbing.

It's very expensive but as I was doing it to get to a good weight to try tog et pregnant I thought it was worth it. Have since kept the weight off for two years and am using slimming world to keep it that way!

It was me. Is it only on prescription or can it be bought over the counter? x
  • Day 4 and I'm struggling this morning. I had to be out at 7 this morning so grabbed a FF vanilla yoghurt and frozen strawberries. Then had problems with my phone and had to head to the Orange service centre. Just got back and was really hungry so have just had another FF vanilla yoghurt and this time with a chopped banana - but I'm still hungry and worried that I'm going to do some damage here.

It's only 11.15 so it's too early for lunch and in any event I'm waiting for a call to go out and take a delivery - don't know what else to eat at this in between time or whether to make myself a sandwich to tide me over until lunchtime.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi all,

Just having breakfast in work. Walked in today as the forecast showed a break in the rain. It was humid but stayed dry :) OH back from his conference tonight which will be nice - even though I get much more done when he's not here, I (and the cats) have missed him!

Macpep - your syn box looks good! Makes me realise just how many syns are in wine though. I think I probably underestimate it, so just as well I only tend to drink on big nights out (one of which is coming up in a week's time- time to start looking up syns I think!)

MedMum- You're doing really well - I think dragging yourself back on the wagon is one of the hardest things to do, and if posting about it keeps you on it then go for it, after all we're all here for the same reason :)

    Green today:
    B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), banana
    L: Thai mugshot (0.5), nectarine
T: Depending on what OH wants, probably pasta with soya meatballs (1), cheese (A)
S: Strawberries, cherries, ww yog, 2x HiFi Light (B), Curly Wurly (6)
    2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]
2012: [STRIKE]Start renovating new house (aka open enormous can of worms)[/STRIKE] _pale_

Can you whip up a quick ham & mushroom omelette with a salad?

I needed a quick fix but something that filled me up - the baked potato and beans would have done it but would have taken longer - couldn't even chop some salad - just needed to stuff some food in my gob!

I am guilty of having one or two glasses depending on how my day at work has went but with the box sitting there, I know that is all I have to last me a week, so I am keeping it for the weekend, was hard last night but I managed :D

just needed to stuff some food in my gob!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Oh don't we know that feeling! Sometimes fruit and yogurt just aren't substantial enough. Last night I was picking at cold meat to keep me away from the crisps. I find cold, new potatoes quite good.

Just checking which plan you're on mm? If it's EE then having a sandwich (2 small slices of wholemeal) is OK for your HEB for the day isn't it? You're doing really well this week. There's nothing wrong with feeling hungry aa long as you stuff your gob with the right stuff!;)

WI for me this morning and I'm pleased to say I'm still safely within my target range. Only registered a 2lbs gain but I'm sure it would have been 4-5lbs if I'd been weighed at the weekend when I got back from hols.

I'm having lunch at DD2s today and she knows I'm on SW but I'm sure there will be a few syns consumed. I'm not generally one for having a blow out on WI day but today might have to be a bit of an exception.:o

Hello all and well done the losers. I am still phasing off Alizonne but nearly done now. Have planned to be all finished by Sunday.

Pregnancy nausea started in earnest this morning - I had to get a lady to give me her seat on the train as I felt so bad. I've never really had it before so I'm hoping that's a good sign. On the down side, the only thing that relieves it is eating something. Gah.... think I might find some of those ginger sweets from H&B - wonder how many syns they are?
