    Green Today

    B = Yoghurt and apple

    L = Uncle Bens Rice (2syns) fish

    D = Fishfingers (7.5syns) and beans

    S = Apple, Melon 2 Yoghurts

    So 9.5 syns, but no HE's at all...Maybe have a milky coffee later to use some...

    Caroline, how big are your portions? Fishfingers and beans wouldn't fill me up for my dinner and yogurt and fruit wouldn't fill me up for breakfast.. also agree with CH27 not enough superfree if your doing EE.

    Fantastic kandfs, one day down :T;) good luck for today..

    on a green day today

    B - poached eggs on toast (heb)
    L - pasta n sauce (2.5:mad:) jacket potato
    T - pasta bake (chicken (heb) cheese (hea))
    S - french fries (4) satsumas, apple, some syns for treats later.. rocky road hifi or some more french fries

    Bit annoyed as we had the campbells pasta n sauce, and i didn't check the syn value first, turns out it's 5 syns per packet compared to batchelors 1 syn per packet.. another thing to be careful of!

    Morning all, red day for me :-)

    B: bran flakes and milk (heb and hea)
    L: wm pitta (heb) with chicken and lots of salad (teeny bit of mayo - 2syns?)
    Snacks: muller light, fruit, 2 ginger bics (4 syns)

    Last nights dinner at friends turned out to be lamb risotto - any ideas how many syns this would have been?! At least is was homemade. It had peppers and onion in it plus lamb, rice, stock etc.

    Didn't see if any one had responded to this, i don't think it would have been horrendous syns if it only had the ingredients you've listed, they're all free foods.

    If it were me, I wouldn't worry about it and just get back on track. One meal out of 21+ isn't going to affect you're weightloss if it wasn't complete junk food.. :D

    Just back from taking my elderly Mum out. I had to sit in the car with her while she ate a tray of chips we bought off the market. There was nothing on any of the stalls which was SW-friendly - hog roast, pies, pasties, chips, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, etc.:(

    I ended up at a fruit stall and bought a bag of cherries and a big banana. :)

    :hello:

    Got back from 2 week holiday yesterday and I need to get seriously back on plan. I wore a pair of loose, size 14 jeans for travelling. At least they were loose on the flight out but not on the way back!:rotfl:

    I don't weigh at home so I have until Thursday's class to try and get back to something like my target. I was 3lbs below when I left. Did my meal plan and food shopping yesterday and I'm going to post my food diary on here to help me stay on the straight and narrow.

    Today's food (EE):
    B: HEB toast, baked beans, tea with HEA milk
    L: 3 slices ham, pickled onions, banana
    D: gammon, sweet potato wedges, peas, tomatoes, mushrooms
    Syns: weekend wine:j
    I wasn't very hungry at lunchtime (I think body clock is a bit out of sync) but I'm starving at the moment so I'm going to cut up an apple.

    I haven't really read back on the last fortnight but I did pick up on mm's post:

    Someone mentioned about not going to work the other day and not knowing how to handle being in the house - that's what I have everyday as I work from home and it's a bloody nightmare. I really wish I could afford to move my office back out of the house - I'd be so much more disciplined.

    I don't really work now, just some voluntary stuff so I'm mainly at home duriing the day (or worse out socialising:o). I find the best way of managing is strict meal planning and the shopping that goes with it. Fortunately, I've never been a snacker so I find that planning stops me wavering about whether to have something healthy or synful.

    Also the discussion as to why some people don't stick to plan: I do believe there are some people who just come to SW for the social interaction and just play at the plan. Maybe they'd vaguely like to lose some weight but don't take it very seriously. But I think the vast majority of those who struggle have either developed bad habits that they're finding it very hard to break or are emotional eaters for one reason or another. I was in the 'bad habit' camp, mainly with wine, but no longer!!

    My food diary so far today:

    b - banana, nectarine
    s - mullerlight
    l - moroccan couscous (1.5 syns), cooked chicken, 2 babybel lights (HEA), banana, nectarine
    s - pear, melon
    d - planning to have a nibbly mix up - spicy wedges, cooked chicken, hard boiled eggs, raw peppers, carrots & spring onions.

    More snacks than usual today but I'm snacking on SF which has gotta be better than the brown stuff :)

    hello everyone

    Can I join in? I am doing Slimming World at the moment. I had a baby 12 weeks ago, joined slimming world 5 weeks ago. So far I have lost 12lbs which is great but I need to keep motivated. Some of my friends have started to notice the weight loss already and although this may motivate some people it makes me slack off!!!

    I have about another 2stone to lose but would really like to lose the bulk of this before I wean my baby in 12-14 weeks time. While she is still breastfed I get 4 extra HEs a day - it makes sticking to plan a lot easier.

    I know it works, I used SW after my first baby - I just need to step away from the biscuit boosts...
