well done all the losers!
i dont syn my vitamins and supplements, i want to be healthy and to me that includes topping up on vitamins and nutrients i might not be getting enough of in my diet to make sure i get what i need. this is another SW thing i don't get, most will be a few syns eat at most, esp for the oily ones. surely SW would rather i had a mutivit or cod liver oil than turn round and go stuff it, a quality street is a few syns a go, if I'm going to use 3 syns, its going on choccy.
TIE: my vitamins (wellwoman) have starflower in them, it says on the box it helps with hormone balance over the months cycle.0 -

As long as it is not fatty I dont think smoked should be any more syns than unsmoked.gunsandbanjos wrote: »I only use smoked bacon, I cut the fat off and its good to go.
Phew!!!! Thanks guys, I did cut all fat off, I think I am still trying to suss out where I went wrong last week , have made sure I had my A & B today, just had a wee 175ml glass rose (6 syns) so am off to brush my teeth to stop me having anything else & take myself off to bed to watch BB. See you all in the morning

Most vitamin tablets fall under a quarter of a syn so would be classed as free anyway, same as tomato puree n oxos etc, the oil based like cod liver oil n those kind would be a bit higher but im sure the benefits outweigh the odd syn a day, what surprised me was lactulose is free it tastes like raw sugar ewwwwww lolLOST 7ST 1/2LB July-groc chal £209/£300

My consultant said that all vitamins were syn free and not to worry about it, if you need them for your health then obviously that is more important.
Well done to all the losers
I have to spend the whole day at school today for sports day, I will be going prepared with my lunch box though!Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
STS for me which is a freaking miracle quite frankly! 4 days off plan. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Morning folks,
Well done those who have lost/STS
Don't want to speak too soon but I think the headache has pretty much goneI thought it may have been made worse by looking at a computer screen so much recently but have got some more spreadsheets to plough through this morning and will be in the lab with a student this afternoon, so will see if there is any difference. Felt well enough to make spag bol with plenty of veg in last night so must be better
Re. supplements- I take a glucosamine and an omega-3 capsule for my poor old knees when I remember (which is probably only about twice a week) but never syn them. The oil probably would count as something but like others, I'm of the opinion that if you need them, take them. Possibly if I remembered every day it might be more of a concern but if it doesn't affect our losses I wouldn't worry.
EE today:
B: Bran flakes (HEB), chopped pear, milk (HEA)
L: L/O soya spag bol
T: Baked salmon, prawns, jacket spud, roast veg, salad
S: Not sure yet, maybe just a kitkat (5.5) and an options (2)
