    :j:j Great News :j:j

    Today's menu was an EXTRA EASY day (I think, haven't done one of these before)

    B = Frozen Fat Free Yoghurt (why did I never do this before, these are scrummy)

    S = Hifi Bar bar (Half an HEB)

    L = Bowl of homemade stew, slice of white bread (3.5syns) brown sauce (2 syns)

    D = Cheese omelette (HEA) and loads of salad

    S = Hifi Bar (Other half of HEB), 2 apples

    Does this look okay for EE ....

    WE are constantly being told in group that if you have stew/chilli/bolognese for a meal you should still have 1/3rd of your plate full of superfrees!!!!!!!!!!

    The area manager, who was sat in our group whilst this was being discussed once, says it is to 'protect our weight loss.'

    So you should really have some fruit with breakfast and some veg/salad/fruit at lunchtime. Hope this helps...

    I have just cooked us a Sirloin steak each with SW chips (best batch I've done actually, they were lovely:j). Also had mushrooms, peas, red onion and a fried egg on the top (done in Frylite).

    Dessert was SW homemade mousse with a Meringue Nest (3 syns) and fresh blueberries.

    Breakfast was skimmed milk (HEa) with 35g cereal (HEb) and a sliced banana and a few grapes.

    Sunday teatime is always the time I get stuck though - used to be sandwiches or cheese on toast but those days are long gone!;)

    I'm interested in what people are saying about exercise. I wasn't well last year and couldn't get out much so my exercise went to pot. I used to cycle loads and walk miles. Now I only walk the dog in the mornings (not even a mile I guess) because I'm out of the rhythm of doing it.

    Been back at SW just over a month and have lost every week so far (7lbs total) so I am not worrying about my exercise and will keep that up my sleeve for when I need to shift a bit more. Before I went back to SW I had convinced myself that I wouldn't lose without exercising but that is proving wrong. I am still amazed that EE is working so well for me.

    After the great weight loss of last week, I totally gave up this week. Had a huge fall out with DH and literally inhaled any food that wasn't nailed down! (box of chocs, half a packet of digestives, several packets of crisps etc) This was comforting eating in the extreme!

    So I got on the scales last night ( I know I shouldn't have) and you guessed it...three pounds on :eek::eek:

    I've been really good today and weigh in is not till Tuesday, so it's damage limitation now!

    Hope everyone who has lost their way has managed to get back on plan.

    I am looking forward to weigh in this week, although still have to make it to Thursday, as I feel I have done well this well. Think not buying loads of treaty foods last Thursday after weigh in has really helped. There is still chocolate in the house for hubby, but I bought Snickers which I don't like and put them in his mini fridge in the bedroom so I don't have to look at them all the time.

    Today's menu was another EE

    B = Yoghurt and apple

    L = Roast and mash spuds, roast beef and broc and cauli

    D = Uncle Ben's rice (2 syns) apple

    S = Yoghurt, 2 apples, Crisps (6.5 syns) small dairy milk (5.5 syns)

    Total of 14 syns, but no HE's
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)

    That looks good caroline!
    I could never eat 4apples in one day, they make my tummy gurgle too much. I know it's handy to buy a bag of them but have you thought of pears or oranges?sorry, Perhaps you dont like any other fruit.

    Went out with OH this a.m. Which kind of threw the usual morning plan. Have had 4 cups of tea (with skim milk - HEA) so far.
    Lunch - SW spicy lentil soup, banana, apple, grapes, muller light
    Snack - raw, homegrown broad beans - scrummy.

    Not sure what to have for dinner; the rest of the family are having a curry feast.
