Maybe I am learning! Day one of target weight, waiting for sons exams results today, nail biting time, ...with a cup of cammomile tea:) cant spell that!

ask your consultant for the target members book, some good tips,

as yet i havent tried to add in the extra HEXs, i have had the odd day where i have had extra syns, but still stay below 20

i am right on target now, i think i will try and loose another 2 or 3lbs and then i will try to eat the extra HEXs

have you a plan yet to stay at target?

how often are you planning on going to group

i was thinking of you last nite (the oddball that i am, thinking of people i dont even know :o)

i was clearing out more clothes the are too big for me, to hand on to my cousin:money:and i had said to her, if there was anything she didnt want, to pass it on to the group (they swop clothes at her group) has your group started that yet?

ps good luck to you son x

Thanks, no word yet! It's his 3rd year vet exams.
I'm going next week and then maybe every two or three.
Somebody else mentioned a clothes swap to her and she said fine but somebody would need to organise it. I dont know if I'm very good at that sort of thing.
Plan is to keep up the fruit and veg, allow myself the occasional biscuit with coffee, glass of wine and slice of bread, but never all three in one day.

sounds like a plan, all along i had biscuits with my tea at nite for my syns,

i have totally gone off white bread, only have wholemeal once a week, usually using my HEX in the form of cereal bars,

i dont really want to lay off the exercise, so i think i will have to start eating a little bit more, tho at the mo, if i have a SW HiFi bar at night time, i count it as syns, and not as a second HEX:o

I will see what the next few weeks brings me too, if i can lose another 2 / 3lbs to get right under target then i really do need to eat more,

i will be going to group weekly for the forseeable, i could do too much damage in 2 or 3 weeks i think

i think may if you got some larger empty boxes and just labelled them "size 14, size 20" etc, and everyone who brought clothes would leave them in the corresponding box, might that work?

    he passed! yay!
Thats a good idea about the boxes, sounds like a plan.
I could offer to take any left behind to the charity shop I work in.
I will always walk every day in life as long as I have a dog. (even today, grim though it is) Dont eat white bread either, I think I put my weight on with biscuits and sweets , not so much chocolate but things like jelly babies and liq allsorts. always the whole bag. So I wont do that again.

    :j:beer: yeeehaww!! well done him!!!

good idea about the charity shop too, handier still that you work there.

i walked every night for 10 months, and since then i have only missed one or 2 nights,

my downfall was always white bread, in any form, soda, pancakes, potato bread, crusy, baps, baguettes....

now i never think of it

that sounds yummy Piglet - I can't get pudding rice here - do you think it would work with risotto rice?
I did it for a while with basmati rice. Just cook as normal without salt - the salt enhances the basmati flavour! Then add yoghurt and fruit . It was handy making up a few days worth at a time, and great for saving your HEB for cereal bars or bread

Edit - mute point! will catch up later off to make dinner.

piglet - ive tried the roches but never made them. Did you say how many you make frm that batch?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
