I don't know WHY I didn't figure this out before!!!!!!
I wash my hair in the shower and the shampoo runs down all over me
Printed clearly on the label is the following warning;
FOR EXTRA VOLUME AND BODY
No wonder I've been gaining weight over the years!!!!
I have gotten rid of that shampoo and am going to start using Dish Washing Liquid instead.
Its label reads, "DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE."
Problem solved! If I don't answer the phone.....I'll be in the shower!
That's SO funny, I really needed a laugh tonight. I am feeling so low, I am still struggling to get back within the target range. I'm exactly 9 stone now and have been hovering between 8st 13 lb and 9st 1 lb for what seems like forever! My consultant says that my original target,(which I reached within 10 months, losing 3 stone in total) was probably too low and I know she's right cos I've never been able to stay at it. I have got to make the decision to keep trying (it's only 6 lbs) or to raise my target, which, as I've said before I really don't want to do cos I love being able to say that I've lost 3 stone. I know that that's ridiculous but that's the way i feel.
So sorry for the moan but thanks again for making me smile.
Well done to all the losers and a big welcome to the newbies. x x0 -

Congratulations ammomite. Wonderful news. :j
WI for me this evening - just a .5 loss for me. My consultant has suggested I try Success Express. Anyone else done this?
Have a good evening all.0 -
congratulations ammonite!!! xxx
Evening all - checking in from hotel in Edinburgh. Had a good day today:
B - satsuma, mullerlight
L - 2 pears, mullerlight, couscous snackpot thing (1.5 syns)
S - satsuma, 2 apples
D (at hotel)... starter grilled scallops with a small amount of some kind of sauce but I asked for it with no cheese then ruined it by having a brown seeded rollwith it (no butter); main course - spicy noodles with king prawns; pudding - sliced seasonal fruits. Drinks = diet coke!
AND I did 30 mins on the cross trainer in the gym here too which is supposed to have burned 250 calories so that should hopefully take care of the brown roll and wee drop of sauce I had on my starter.
Well done to all those who have lost and hugs to all those who need them. Don't think I'll get a chance to log in tomorrow but if I can I will. Nite nite. xMortgage Aug 22 £280,000

hello can I post back here please (tail between legs).
Had done averagely well over 3 months losing 10lb on red/green days. Then found out I was expecting a baby ammonite, sickness kicked in and it was a miracle I ate anything so just ate what I felt like. Weight gain = 0lb. That was fine until the sickness disappeared and I continued eating rubbish....weight gain = 8lb. I realise a small part of that is baby but as I've got a longggggggg way to go until due date.....I cannot afford to be adding that much weight every few weeks.
I don't get on well with extra easy as I can't eat much fruit and veg but I need to give that or some sort of healthy eating a go so although I may not be slimming worlding I'd love to join you again for the support. I will probably be the only person on the thread whose weight goes up!
P.S I do know I can't diet whilst pregnant but Extra Easy with 2 As and 2 Bs is OK (its basically just healthy eating). I'm too weak to count calories anyway. Also I'm not trying to lose weight, just attempting not to gain 6 stone (on top of the 4 I'm already overweight!)
Congrats Ammonite and hope you have an easy and safe pregnancy. SW is probably the healthiest way you can eat for you and your baby so whilst you might not lose weight you can certainly give him/her a good start and teach yourself some great habits at the same time.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
It's the middle of the night and I'm awake. I've made a major f*** up with a client and I've lost a night's sleep because this is something I just don't do and I feel so bad and so guilty and right now I don't quite know how to rectify it.
I need to walk but it's still dark outside so catching up on emails and facebook and stuff until it lightens up a bit but I know that walking is just going to make be think about this situation all the more. I feel sick to the bottom of my stomach and actually feel like I'm going to throw up.
Why am I telling you this - no bloody idea but it's a place to anonymously put it down on paper and maybe help me work out a solution for myself - OMG!Mediterranean Mum

Yippee...I have finally read all the pages on this thread....tempted to start the other winter one now as I got such great inspiration and ideas from this one.
I managed to stick to my meal plan yesterday and don't tend to eat much today as it is weigh in day. Does everyone do that or is it just me...I try not to eat much and deffo don't drink very much, and also try and visit the loo as much as possible..
When I followed any plan in the past I always had a treat on weigh in night, but this was an extreme treat...maybe a chinese, or chippy and massive bag of crisps with a dip and loads of chocolate....often far too much to eat in one night so there was leftovers the next day which I thought I might as well eat to get out of the way. This time I am still going to have a treat but no where near as much, and will have my normal SW dinner first. I like to have enough treats to feel like I am going to burst, but if I have my dinner, followed by melon, then there shouldn't be much room in my tummy to fill. I also don't count any food items on weigh in day just start afresh the next day, does anyone else do this, or am I the only greedy piggy here.
Oh and can someone tell me what NSV means ?;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0 -
Hi Caroline - When I went to group many years ago me and my friend used to go and have a meal after weigh in. We went to a cheap and cheerful restaurant near the WI place and that way we didn't have any left overs to eat up the following day. Also going with someone else we were usually quite good with what we ordered and it wasn't a total blow out bad meal.Mediterranean Mum
