Louise22 - wow that is amazing, well done. Do you have much more to lose or are you at target ?

To get to a healthy BMI I have to lost another 3 stone - to be honest I dont pay too much attention to the BMI as I have a bit of muscle now which that wont take into account... I think that method is flawed in other ways to but that is another rant for another day :P

I havent actually set a target yet - I think another 2 stone may be ok for me :)

Louise22, really well done, to echo everyone else - that really is amazing - and in such a short space of time. Has it been all through SW? I see you said that you have some muscle, if you don't mind me asking, how much exercise do you do, and were you excercising right from the beginning?

    Hello :)

Believe it or not I lost weight quickest without exercising...well, I say that, the scales may have slowed down but I lost inches and my body changed shape.

It varies what I do but I generally do at least 2 classes a week - boxercise which is amazing for toning and bodycombat which is fantastic - I sometimes swim, go on my bike or jog on the treadmill. Probably averages out at 3 sessions of some sort of activity a week.

Couldn't sleep so came back on here for more inspiration.

Think I have tomorrow's menu worked out, just need to remember to eat lunch, but think I may set the alarm on my mobile to remind me. It's such a hard habit for me to eat three meals a day as I went years not eating anything until dinner time (6pm) and then going mad gorging in the evening.

Anyhow...this is Wednesday's menu (Green Day)

Breakfast = 1.5 Shredded Wheat (HEB) and milk (HEA) with an apple

Snack = WW yoghurt and apple

Lunch = Mug Shot and apple

Snack = Wholemeal Pitta (HEB) with tomato puree, mushrooms and cheese (HEA)

Dinner = Brown fish and Uncle Ben's Rice (2syns)

This leave me 13 syns, so may have the remaining 6 Ryvita thins at 2 syns each to get them out of the house....lol....xx
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)
  • Louise - well done, hats off to you.

Caroline - I had a similar day yesterday but I think I managed to keep within the syns as I overate on the grapes! I know fruit is free but I know with diabetes I can't go crazy with fruit and I certainly did yesterday. Managed to limit the crackers to 4 and some humous and one energy bar, everything else was SW allowed

I've generally had a crazy week work-wise this week but fortunately been able to get home for lunch (I work from home but much of my work is running around outside the house). Last night I got back at 9.45 and it was really too late for supper so ended up having a hardboiled egg!

Hopefully I'll be a bit better today.

I can definitely feel myself getting stronger with the walking - just seems to be Sundays when I'm in a lot of pain and it's a struggle.

hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j
  • Well Done Louise. Cracking stuff.
Caroline, this place is like staying to group only it's here every day and night.
How are we all today, smiling.. looking forward to the sunshine?
Finally had two full nights sleep. (if you don't count the body clock kicking me awake at 4.) Hubby is badly now so still not clear of this plague.
Stuck to plan for the last three days. Even with half a pint in there I was still undersyn. Drinking plenty of water, seems to be working, getting lots of positive comments from people on the school run.
Weigh In day for me. - we shall see later what damage I've done/repaired. A 4lb loss would be really fantastic. :D

    Seconded - that's amazing....

Well instinct was right - 3.5lbs on! So I've bought what is going to be my final 12 week countdown, and booked my holiday!

I do not want to be 12 stone 5!

I am going to get under 12 stone!

Today is complicated! - Got to take DD1 to the orthodontist and then run to work.....

Don't let me give up folks...

Caroline, thats good, with 3 pieces of fruit, but they are all apples!
It would be better for you if could get some variety in there.
I had a major blowout yesterday, went completely off plan. We had a young friend round for a celebration take away (chinese) after his last exam.I ordered the chow mein but of course ate everything going and had wine nuts and crisps. so I feel pretty bad today.
Breakfast was 2 weetabix with half a large pear sliced over and half a muller coconut yog. Yum
    lunch: pasta salad,
Dinner, chicken breast and spicy couscous with side salad.
