how much do you want to loose?

depends on how much I have put on!

I want to be under 12 stone - I was - for 1 week, then the exam stress hit! We have 4 different sorts of icecream in the freezer - how on earth did that happen?

Recently weight loss has been very slow..... decisions, decisions...

Macpep - sorry to hear about your little cat.
Piglet - fantastic WI for you this week. How do you do it? You are inspirational.
And for everyone else well done, however your week has been.

I've just committed the cardinal sin of weighing myself. :T
I know, I know, I shouldn't have! And now I'm really regretting it as the scales say I have put on 2lbs since last Wednesday. Agghhhhh. And I have stuck to plan, so feeling despondent.

But even though the scales are not being kind today clothes say that I have changed overall. I ordered a maxi dress and a skirt 2 sizes smaller than when I started - and they fit. Am so excited, a couple of new items for my hols in August.

Must, must stay on plan. It really would be so easy to slip back into the old ways.

Just hide the darned things and be done with it! My DH is doing SW with me but doesn't go to group, so he weighs in on a Wed morning at home. I am always tempted to jump on but haven't done - I wait until I go to group in the evening. Thing is if you've not lost you feel bad and eat more, if you've lost you relax and eat more and then by the evening weigh-in it's all different anyway. It's even different by the evening depending on how often you've visted the loo. ;)

There's an old saying "a pint of water weighs a pound and a quarter". Imagine if you weigh, say 12 stone in the morning, and you have several drinks in the day that can easily weigh over a pound. If you're anything like me I never want to go until AFTER I've had my weigh-in.:rotfl:

    Morning folks,

3lb off for me this week and got my club 10. Really pleased, if a little surprised, but suspect the walking is helping.

BTW, I was just reading posts from you ladies who are a bit disheartened by losing more slowly than some. I am probably one of those who seems to lose quite a bit each week (although I work hard for it and don't cheat like some!) but I still have about 6 stone to lose and think that is a big part of it. If you don't have much to lose that could be a reason for it. Try not to be disappointed though, it all adds up :)

Well done, Blodwen. I think that's partly why I felt so done yesterday I only needed to do 1lb to get my club 10. Its a bit silly but the awards do actually motivate me.
I'm going to try and walk more this week, just hope the weather stays nice, I tend to find excuses when its raining.
SW start date 20/02/12 - lost so far 2st 2.5lb

    Hi all,
the wife has just joined slimming world again after having our second child.

we have a query about some syn values. the BELVITA breakfast biscuits are listed as 3 syns each.

i was wondering if that 3 syns is per biscuit or per pack of 3 biscuits.

    does anyone know?
