i feel awful atm, came home from work and my mum had already cooked me a chicken en croute to try and be helpful when i got in from work. pastry really doesn't agree with me atm :( thinking of going to the doctors, i think I'm getting full blow IBS from all the stress I've been under recently. going to have to try and really clear up my diet and cut down on sugar and caffeine incase thats setting it all off too.

Dinner = Brown fish and packet of Uncle Ben's rice (2syns)

What on earth is brown fish?

That's exactly what I was wondering :rotfl:

Well, it was a 3.5lbs loss today :T I'm dead chuffed as i have lost what I put on 2 weeks ago on holiday (6.5lbs:eek:) and I'm now 2lbs lighter than before we went, so although I am 3 weeks behind where I should be, it was worth it for the holiday.

Before we went on holiday my losses were slowing down to 0.5 and 1lbs losses each week, so I wonder if what some poeple say is true and sometimes your body needs a blowout to kick start it again - though maybe not a whole week of blowing out :o

My first mini target was to lose 2 stone before our holiday, which I managed, so I have set myself another mini target of making it to 3 stone by the last week of august which is when my parents are having the kids, so it will be another blowout for a few days, but I figure that if I can be good until then , its worth delaying the weight loss by however long it takes me to lose what I put on in those few days, as it is so nice to have a break from the kids that we like to go out to eat, and I like to not bother to cook!!

Oooooohh, just remebered, after feeling so good about my WI this morning I was a bit (large bit) naughty, as I made OH a b'day cake with the kids and eat far too much of the raw cake mix, but thats done and dusted and I'm firmly back on the wagon.

I bought a fresh dressed crab today and would normally make sandwiches with it. However DH and I haven't had bread for nearly a month so I got home and then wondered what to do.

I made us a nice salad to go with it and then found some Tesco Tortilla wraps in the breadbin which needed eating up!;) They were the healthy options sort and worked out at 7 syns each which I thought was rather a lot. Anyway, that was today's syns but I was surprised. I always thought they were a lot better choice than bread. I guess with those you save a bit because you don't add butter/marg which you would with bread.

I was shocked to discover they were high on syns too, I steer clear of them now and opt for a wholemeal pita bread instead, I love a hot pita with ex light mayo, chicken, and salad.

Well done all the losers, some great losses.

Still in a little bit of a funk........not eating badly but not following SW if that makes sense! The day starts really well with porridge, and then I foget to eat until dinner in the evening.

Planning on a good day today
    B Porridge
L Wholemeal Pita, ex light mayo, chicken and salad
D Spag bol made with wholemeal spaghetti.

Snacks will be a galia melon and some blueberries.

    Morning folks,

3lb off for me this week and got my club 10. Really pleased, if a little surprised, but suspect the walking is helping. Seeing a couple of friends tonight and one is cooking but she's a vegan and the stuff she makes is always super healthy so should be fine, although a glass or two of something may sneak in... ;)

    EE today:
B: Frozen mixed berries, strawberries, Quark
L: Chicken sandwich (HEB), bistro salad, dressing (0.5)
    T: Mushroom risotto
S: Milk for drinks (HEA), strawberries, Greek muller (0.5), 2 small glasses prosecco (8)

BTW, I was just reading posts from you ladies who are a bit disheartened by losing more slowly than some. I am probably one of those who seems to lose quite a bit each week (although I work hard for it and don't cheat like some!) but I still have about 6 stone to lose and think that is a big part of it. If you don't have much to lose that could be a reason for it. Try not to be disappointed though, it all adds up :)
