Feeling full of enthusiasm and ready for another week - would love to get 2.5lb off next Monday to get my 2.5 stone certificate. I feel like a wee bairn getting ridiculously excited about getting each sticker and certificate.

    Today's food diary:
    B - mullerlight & banana
L - roasted mediterranean veg soup; pear
    S - banana; 1 babybel light (1/2 HEA); cadbury's highlights (2.5syns)
D - stir fry veg (bean sprouts, onions, greens, peppers, garlic, mushrooms & ginger), noodles & chicken.

I am away with work tomorrow so have a mushroom and onion SW quiche in the oven just now to take with me along with some salad.

  • All good intentions this am but syns have definetely gone over, but in my head a diet always starts on a monday morning so perhaps i wasnt in it 100 percent ....

Can i ask how you all plan ya days do you just grab what you fancy or do you meal plan for the week and those that keep a diary what do you keep check on ive tried all ways to get on track but never really meal plans and of late ive used the too tired to cook excuse far to often ...

Not organised enough to plan a whole week - yet but i plan day by day, while eating breakie.

Both me and my mum suffer from this, specifically chippy/takeaway/cheap restaurant.
Chase food down with OJ - or have grapefruit as pudding - prolly not what you want after a chippy!

I'm glad i'm not the only one to anticipate and be proud of my certificates! I am fingers crossed that I will have lost 1lb tomorrow to get me to 5 + 1/2 stones....

Went to Leeds today with the DD's - did a big shop in Primark. Took the girls to Slug and Lettuce for lunch - had their Morroccan chicken salad - it was divine! I've just stayed syn free for the rest of the day and kept my fingers crossed...
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

    morning loosers :D I'm back :D

just managed to climb back onto my SW wagon and intend to stay here for good

I've been pretty good the first couple of days while away but then planned to go flexi for Sat night party which only ended well into Sunday morning  Hangover from hell and still at friend's house I ate a takeaway lunch/dinner(which was a breaded chicken breast, chips and coleslaw) however that didn't wanna stay in my tummy for long so I guess it didn't do as much damage :o another naughty day yesterday(sandwich for lunch and fish&chips for dinner) so I'm writing it all off and start again today... :o

good thing is I didn't really eat or crave chocolate for quite a long time(for me anyway) so I'll see if I can avoid it alltogether  I am craving fruit right now after a week on apples and oranges...

off to see if there is much damage to my weight loss and a visit to Mr M is much needed...

hope everyone has a good day :A

well, my scales say there is NO damage at all and even better! :D

I'll still be really really good for the 4 days until my WI as I'm afraid that last night's fish&chips will catch up with me :/

off to get some fruit and veg now :)

For mum it was a side effect of NOT eating healthy, and a long term thing she still has to avoid certain fats now. There's some medical name for it - I forget what. For me it comes and goes though, mostly when I have a load of overly fatty foods. (Those usually shiny with the amount of oil/fat/lard thats been used in cooking it)
Sometimes just a fizzy drink will cut through the lard, but Grapefruit is far better.

Me, I'm planning on having spagbol for tea, about to slight it in the slow cooker in fact. Lost the plot yesterday, 4 syns over :( Doing plenty of body magic this week.. not that I can get to the wii today. They are coming to replace the electric meter for a new version. Had to empty the understairs cupboard - so boxes everywhere! Great with the kids at home.
