Back on the wagon today.... oh, except for the chinese with the girls tonight! It's a buffet one
Missed WI last week as I've been sliding further and further off the wagon. It was * week though so that probably didn't help... onwards and upwards!

ive figured out that i cant really eat anything massively oily/fatty without some form of stomach pain recently... like normal chips or proper burgers :S im hoping its only temporary because it felt like an extreme dose of indigestion but its lasted hours :S

Without trying to give TMI... I get a very very dodgy tummy after eating something very oily or fatty, even more so now I'm on SW! :eek:Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

I was going to try the soup but it sounds disgusting.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
If I have spaghetti hoops at lunchtime do I buy the low fat or just the normal ones?
I was only passing on advice on the soup, I didn't say I'd actually eaten it!;)
All spaghetti hoops are free on EE.
It's hard to advise on the chicken if you don't want any carbs at all. You could always roast it wrapped in some lean bacon rashers and then eat with a pile of veg or salad? Or have a stir-fry with just a heap of veg and no noodles or rice?ive figured out that i cant really eat anything massively oily/fatty without some form of stomach pain recently... like normal chips or proper burgers :S im hoping its only temporary because it felt like an extreme dose of indigestion but its lasted hours :S
I've been finding that too. I think that the system gets so used to healthy SW foods that it rebels against too much fat. I'm not sure if you've said fluff but does your father live with you or is he just staying for a while? It must be a nuisance not being able to try new recipes if it's a permanent arrangement. At least he shouldn't have a problem with a good old roast or cottage pie. SW is very versatile.0 -

Thanks for that, I will try the soup as a last resort. I went to the shops just now and bought some prunes in apple juice, I need to see what they count as though. Yeah I might just have some chicken and brussels, cabbage and brocoli.
I just hopped on the scales which I vowed I wouldn't doand there is no movement
I'm on day 4 of SW so I must be doing something wrong? Portion sizes perhaps? Or am I needlessly worrying?
I notice a few people use the scan bran.... I will buy some at my next WI on Thursday.0 -
maman he lives with me lol but stuck in his old ways (mince, pasta sauce from a jar etc) so he can be stubborn at times... i have his temperament and personality to a tee, except that i am willing to try new things and be adventurous lol!
am i right in saying apart from bisto that i put in, stew is pretty much syn free? i would add mince, steak pieces, tomato puree, spuds, carrots, parsnips, onion, 2 beef stock cubes and water and put it in the pressure cooker for an hour.
hmmm depending on the weather, depends on what ill make i think.
i find it weird that i can eat steaks etc, but not your standard or even reaaaaallly good quality burgers.. havent tried sausages yet lol. though having said that, maybe its always been building, i could never eat smoked salmon, i love it, but cant eat it - my reckoning was that it was too rich in oil?I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Again, not speaking from experience, but people say that Scan Bran is like eating cardboard!
Prunes in apple juice is 4 syns for 100g.
Don't be disheartened, if you keep sticking to the plan you will lose. Not everyone loses a regular amount each week but it does catch up eventually. Don't be tempetd to not eat enough or miss out on syns and have as many superfrees as you can. There are other superspeedy foods other than beans. Do you like melon or strawberries?0 -
lalamb dont panic
my first few weeks i stalled and started all over the show
like maman says, your weeks of loss wont necessarily be regular - there are times that i have found it very hard to lose at all. eg. this week i have 3 days until WI and im still the same WI weight as last week atm, but i know it will go down by thursday so im not too concernedI'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

Awww thanks, I know I shouldn't get disheartened just yet and I know I should lose weight if I stick to it. I expected to feel less bloated not more though because I've cut out the diet fizzy drinks. I recently had my gallbladder removed so maybe this is a factor but I wouldn't have thought so.
I love strawbs and melon, I'm going to have some mullerlight and have some strawbs and raspberries with it this afternoon.
Just had 100g of prunes, not had them for years they were interesting!Drinking a hot cup of water with lemon - my mums suggestion for constipation.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this SW thread, it's been such a big help! x0 -
Total 3lb lost this week
Had a indulgent supper last night so on all free food today (red) - salad with prawns and chanterais melon for lunch with a fat free yog dressing. Yum.People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
