Prolly is the veg and massive change in drink habit too. Try getting some Ribena Really Light (super speed/free) or Ribena no added sugar. That helped me no end ;)
Asda have the 1l dilute at £1 so its cheaper than the cartons/larger bottles. Kids love the stuff too.

Thanks for the tip will try it and report back!

We were talking about dizzy earlier and if she was here we'd definitely be having some toilet humour by now!:rotfl:Have a look at the dynoraod soup in the recipe link in the first post, that'll get you 'going'. We've had many a poster talk about how if they haven't 'been' it affects WI. Just keep sticking to the plan (and the pan!;)) and you'll lose!

Thanks for that, I just had a look at the recipe, where will I find a can of mixed bean salad?

I must say it sounds gross, I hate beans, or lentils of any sort but I suppose when it's put through a blender you wont notice it. I will definitely try it though. :)

I forgot to give an update on the SW KFC earlier.

It was an all round success. I was quite surprised to be honest, even though the reviews were brilliant. Definitely not KFC but it was really nice and I think it's the closest your going to get to it, my husband said he definitely wants it again.

And my little boy said he loves the SW chips which we had with it, he said they were better than any chips he's ever had!

I am officially loving this new way of eating. :T

I think most supermarkets sell a version.

Thanks, I know what to look for now. I don't eat that kind of food so wasn't too sure what it was.

Congratulations Mr & MrsM on little Charlie! xxx

KissyKissyKaren - for each day i figure out what main meal i want to eat and the best day to do it on (i still do G/R) then figure out if it needed any HE or syns. once i knew i had one meal done and a basic idea of how many HE i had left, i found the other two meals kind of slipped into place. although, i do have failsafe brekkie options almost everyday of a free boiled egg, fruit or yogurt and because i get two HEB i can safely have toast or cereal/porrdge and know i had one B and/ A left for later anyway.

like Maman, i also batch cook a lot. i do chillis, spag bols, pasta sauces and soups and freeze them so if i ever get in late or just need something quick, i can pop it in the microwave and have a meal in a few mins that i know is def SW friendly and cheap. i can get 8 portions out my batch of chilli, assuming they will be served with rice or a baked potato too.

Morning all. I'm back at work today after a week off so am about to make a SW quiche to take for my packed lunch (which will actually be tea as I'm working 1-10pm today). Just had my usual fruit and yogurt for breaks so I can save my HEX B for a pack of S&V Ryvita minis, which I love.

    Good morning :)

Today I've decided to lay off potatoes, rice and pasta and see if that helps with the bloating. I was going to try the soup but it sounds disgusting.

So for Breakfast I had a bowl of fruit and fibre and skimmed milk
Lunch I think I will have eggs, bacon, mushrooms and spag hoops
Dinner - not sure yet, I was going to have jacket pots, but it will probably be chicken with ??? ideas welcome..

If I have spaghetti hoops at lunchtime do I buy the low fat or just the normal ones?
  • I know this may sound odd but has anyone tried cauliflower pizza?

Chop up a cauliflower and pop it in the food processor - blitz for a few seconds and it turns into something resembling rice or cous cous.

Add 2 beaten eggs and use this mixture to cover a swiss roll tin which you will have fry-lighted first.

Bake for 10-15 minutes at 180.

Then add a layer of tomato puree and whatever you would normally add to a pizza - mushroom, sliced tomato etc. and use either your HEA for 30g of cheddar or 25g for 5 syns. Put back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.

It's really tasty. Mine fell apart a bit when I tried to dish it so maybe a few more minutes of cooking it without a topping would have helped it firm up. Or another egg? I didn't really mind and it was very yummy.

ive figured out that i cant really eat anything massively oily/fatty without some form of stomach pain recently... like normal chips or proper burgers :S im hoping its only temporary because it felt like an extreme dose of indigestion but its lasted hours :S

had a sneaky weigh this morning - im sitting pretty much at what i was last week... so im thinkin i need to change something to have a loss if i want to aim for my 2 stone goal this week... im at a course from 6pm this evening, so dinner will need to be at about 4.30 lol, beans on toast im thinking or a jacket potato with tuna... i might make SW quiche tomorrow for tea though dearest father is rather against anything new or adventurous lol
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:
