Thanks Piglet, did let her know about the 2 weeks, so i'm now paid up until 16th Sept and a free Desserts book to boot! I'm aiming for a stone loss by then..

For my first week weigh in I lost 3 lbs.. little bit disappointed if i'm honest, but it's a good loss so i'll take it.. unfortunately not there next week as we're away in Brighton, so it'll be two weeks until official weigh in happens again.

    Take care everyone xx

Morning everyone. It's been a funny old week for me again BUT it's been a dry one (in terms of booze that is not the weather).
I've had 2 nights away with work which can be challenging at the best of times and 3 evening meetings so my meal times have been all mixed up.

I have been trying to have a biggish breakfast and that tides me over until 3pm when I have another largish late lunch to try to stop me being ravenous and picking at all the naughties at the buffets at the evening meetings. At the meetings I have been having a couple of brown bread sandwich triangles (1 slice bread) and tring to go for roast chicken or beef fillings. I figure that it's better than going for battered chicken or pastry type things.

Yesterday was probably my worst day of the week syns wise - we were out at a local gala so it was KFC for tea for the whole family but I managed to restrain myself and only had 2 boneless pieces (3 syns each) and 3 chips (3 syns??).
The rest of the day was mullerlights, fruit, Asda moroccan couscous (1.5 syns), 2 alpen lights (HEB), tesco light houmous (4 syns), 1 sesame ryvita (1.5syns) & celery so16 syns over all with is above my allowance but hey I could have easily a$$ed a bottle of red wine and that would have set me back 26 syns but I didn't.

Minimal syn day today seeing as weigh in is tomorrow and holidays are in 3 weeks :)

Can you smell my SW Pork casserole cooking? It's diced pork, chopped celery, sliced red onions, sliced red peppers, paprika, splash of Worcester Sauce, tablespoon of Tomato Puree, few sliced mushrooms, couple sliced carrots, S & P, nearly a pint of stock (Oxo) and half a can of mixed beans which I thought I'd chuck in as they're free.

For dessert I've made a SW Raspberry & Cranberry Mousse (with Quark, sugar free jelly and Muller yog) and we'll have fresh fruit with that.

I have got some prawns out of the freezer for a snack tonight with salad. All in all a good day here!:)

    I need help!

Been a bit off plan since WI on Thursday night.

Meals have been good but had a few packets of crisps and a couple of bars of chocolate. Crisps is my downfall. I have a large bag of cheesy puffs in the cupboard that I plan on demolishing tonight.

I'm noticing a pattern and probably an explanation for my small piddly losses.

Thursday is WI. So I may lose 1 or 2lbs. I tend to have a takeaway after WI as a treat! :o Followed by a bar of chocolate :o
Friday I tend to skip breakfast, I follow SW until evening and have a large bag of crisps and a bar of chocolate :o
Saturday can be similar to Friday
Sunday, again no breakfast or lunch because I have a roast dinner aroun 3pm, I'm good and make SW roast potatoes but have Aunt Bessie stuffing balls and gravy! I skip pudding and have a chocolate bar in the evening.
    Mon - Thurs I'm 100% on plan

But I think that my loss on a Thursday night is gone after I have my takeaway, I probably put on 1 or 2lbs over the weekend. So Mon- Thurs I'm battling to lose that and some more to get a loss that week.

I need to sort this out and stop thinking I can eat unhealthily at the weekend but be good 3 and half days out of the week! My consultant did say you can have 1 day blow out but I'm having 3........having said that I'm not pigging out, I don't drink alcohol either. I'm just not sticking to plan like I should be, an example of not having breakfast and lunch on a Saturday and Sunday.

Hi Lalamb.. do you think the takeaway triggers off your cravings? Could you make your own SW "takeaway" for when you get back from class? One that doesn't contain all the salt, sugar, fat and MSG that may trigger your craving for choc/crisps.

There are some lovely chinese/indian SW recipes around.. if we could help you find some that you might like.

Thanks Confused, there probably is one but i'm too chicken to go to a new group.. we have some gym passes and we do a lot of walking usually when we're there so i should be able to keep on track and still have a bit of a treat. My sister is currently doing weightwatchers so we'll all be watching what we eat..

We're off to the pub for a meal with the inlaws in a bit. I've had a look at the menu and there's nothing there really that I like (fussy eater :() that's SW friendly. Or is it that i'm being picky cos I really don't want to go :rotfl:

I think i'll have to either have lamb chops with BNS cous cous or the lancashire hotpot. Or if they have jacket potatoes (can't see them on the menu) i'll have gammon and JP...

    So menu today (red)
B - ham, cheese (hea) oopsie rolls
L - lancashire hotpot or gammon/JP (Heb) NO dessert
T - ryvitas (heb) laughing cow (hea) pickles
    S - melon, satsumas, apple
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Thanks MedMum.......I know it's always easier giving advice. Everything you say is what I know already but sometimes you need someone else to tell you. Had a yoghurt for breakfast today, and that's it until dinner at 3ish......I know I shouldn't but at least I had the yoghurt. Planning on having a yoghurt and fruit tonight for a snack rather than chocolate.

Shalamoo thanks for the advice and it could be the takeaway which sends me off on the wrong track. It's more of a convenience thing rather than a need for it though(the takeaway I mean), all I do is cook so it just gives me a break on a Thursday night. I have a chicken kebab from takeaway, something I could do at home but it's never the same is it? lol

I do make all my own curries though, SW friendly of course! :)

Thanks to everyone for the support & tips after my first post on this thread. Well despite going over with my syns on Thursday as I was out for a meal I managed a 1lb weight loss this week which Im happy with.

This week Im going to plan more and write down everything I eat as I get too frustrated with the SW online diary! Im also going to increase my exercise (which won't be hard as I don't do any at the moment!)

Thank you to everyone who posts their menus on here as it gives me some good ideas for meal planning.

Having been dubious about Extra Easy (when I last did SW it didn't exist!) I am going to give it a go for a couple of days this week and see what happen!

Good luck to everyone this week!

Oh Lalamb I'm the master at giving advice - I just wish I could follow it!!!

Glad you had something, even if it was just a yoghurt but maybe have a piece of fruit before dinner too. The other thing that I try to do is to fill my plate with salad before I take the rest of the meal, or as a starter if possible. That way I'm not just tucking into whatever's on offer.

I know what you mean about cooking and giving yourself a night off. I used to do the same years ago when I was a member of Slimming Magazine club but we'd go to a restaurant and have a meal rather than a take away - that way we could eat fairly healthily and someone else was cooking it!

Er no! What's the point? Only joking, can you tell me about it?
I love Pimms, but it is so expensive.

Have you tried the Austins from Aldi? It's just as nice as Pimms and half the price! We call it Paupers Pimms!
