Hi Everyone
Feeling very down today, in work & keep having to bite my tongue to stop myself thinking about the vets this afternoon:( . I prob won’t be back on as I finish at 1 today, take DS into School for the afternoon at 1.30, vets @ 2.10 then doctors at 3.20 then a 3 hour drive to our hotel. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone.
I can’t really make plans for the rest of the weekend as I don’t know what hotel will have but so far –
B – Strawberries, Melon, nat ff yoghurt, alpen light ½ HEB
L – Not even thought of it, stomach is churning
D - ?
Hope all those with sad news are holding up well, as said before it doesn’t seem right posting about SW when you all have so much more on your plates.
I will prob ‘see’ you all on Sunday when I am back.
ETA: Medmum - I was the same as you, that last few weeks people have told me I am looking great and I think I also thought well I don't need to carry on but for myself I do. I am sure with all the love & support on here you will lose 100lb by Feb '14. That is completely achievable, just over 1lb a week.:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Thanks Piglet - Unfortunately i'm a veteran of SW. i know it works if you can stick to it but i'm afraid i lack the willpower and the pull of sugar and spice, etc is too much:(.. i'm aiming for 3 stone loss in total - it'll be the scenic route though!
Your weight loss is tremmendous (sp?) - big congratulations from me :T do you still go to group?
Some very good advice about taking weight loss in stages too.
We ended up at the Good Food show in Birmingham today so i'll not list my food (albeit to say i've had roughly 60-70 syns:eek:) so i shall be treating this as a flexi day. We have also bought some unhealthy food home with us.. it looked so nice:o but this will be stashed away in the cupboard for now until I can decide what to do with it - can you freeze coconut Macaroons? (180 calories EACH!)
I think tomorrow will be a lot of fruit and veg to get this refined sugar back out of my system!

I posted on here about Muller Lemon cheesecake yoghourts and have finally found some lurking in a Morrisons store. They are really nice and come in a pack of 6 and are 1 syn I believe. The other flavour in the pack (New York City or somesuch name) is half a syn I believe.
I am not a big fan of Muller yogs on their own but I can tolerate them made into a mousse or poured over fruit or a meringue nest. But these new ones I just LOVE on their own.:j0 -
Tonight I cooked some salmon steaks in foil and we had little new potatoes roasted in their skins (Frylite) and some salad.
For pud I stewed some rhubarb (with artificial sweetner) and lemon juice and we had Onken Fat free vanilla yoghourt poured over - just like custard really.
It was a really nice meal and I'm hoping it is just the stewed rhubarb I have to syn. 1 syn for 100g. I'm doing EE and still puzzled by how much we can eat.0 -
Totally agree with Piglet about making smaller goals. I too haven't set a target as I think it would seem to big a mountain to climb. So half a stone at a time for me and I'll get there!
Extremely motivated this week and am staying completely focused. Has anyone else tried the non alcoholic free version of 'PIMMS' ?Grocery Challenge: June £92/£5000 -
Er no! What's the point? Only joking, can you tell me about it?
I love Pimms, but it is so expensive.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
OK, so its not actually Pimms
but it looks like it and is as refreshing:
Diet lemonade
strawberries, cucumber (or any fruit you would normally add)
sprig of mint
and a dash of balsamic vinegar!
You have to be open minded with the balsamic vinegar but I'm hooked!Grocery Challenge: June £92/£5000 -
Me too - we had some at a group taster a couple of weeks ago! It was brilliant!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0

I hate to tell you but Onken yoghurts are NOT free - even the fat free ones. I've checked on syns online and the fat free vanilla yog is 5 syns per 450g pot.... Sorry!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
