WI and half a pound off of the pound put i on last week. i suspect its purely due to additional walking round the office rather than sitting in all day because my diet hasn't been the most SW one this week!0

Thanks for that Cyclingyorkie. 5 syns for the whole pot is still very good though hey? I reckon I must have had 2 tablespoons which would be very hard to estimate from a big 450g pot. I'll err on the side of caution and say 1 syn.:)0 -
Tonight I cooked some salmon steaks in foil and we had little new potatoes roasted in their skins (Frylite) and some salad.
For pud I stewed some rhubarb (with artificial sweetner) and lemon juice and we had Onken Fat free vanilla yoghourt poured over - just like custard really.
It was a really nice meal and I'm hoping it is just the stewed rhubarb I have to syn. 1 syn for 100g. I'm doing EE and still puzzled by how much we can eat.
The natural fat free Onken is free, as is Aldi's own brand. I buy this for putting on cereal or cooking. For putting on fruit, I prefer Total 0% which is far more creamy and also syn free. Just noticed that Asda have a free rhubarb and vanilla yogurt which might make a nice topping.
MM, I'm so sorry you are feeling like that. Your long term goal is 100% do-able. Try to get into a mindset that if you look/feel better after losing a single stone then how much better you'll be after 2st, 3st etc. I hope you're eating well today as your shopping basket sounded SW perfect. Incidentally, while I know it would have speeded things up I didn't really exercise doing SW so if you have to ease up because of the weather you should be fine. I'm not saying that exercise isn't beneficial for all sorts of reasons just that it's posssible to lose by healthy eating alone. What about a stroll in the early morning/evening? I find that can help enormously by having time to think.:A0 -
Well, son arrived back from uni and politely told me I do not look scrawny!
I put on a pound this week which is scary because I only loosened the reins a bit!
So still plodding on and trying to get back in the groove. Must not celebrate the prodigals return with drink and snacks though.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
Been good so far, weekends are my downfall!
Coffee
Weetabix x 2, milk, sugar(1.5), tea
Grapes, yoghurt
Just making dinner, early I know but I start work at 5pm so need to eat then get there - SW chips, bacon and cheese omelette and beans, tea.
Only a few syns so far, I allow myself more on a saturday as my job is very physical, so plenty left for something later. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

We got told this the other night - apparently they make them with sugar now instead of sweetner. One lady at class had been eating a whole big tub every day thinking they were free  and then put on weight.. She was having the peach or vanilla one i think..

Cookin Mama I bet if you tried on say a M&SW size 14 they would be too big and a 12 would fit.
I think certain brands are mean size wise and NewLook would be one of them.Norn Iron Club member 4730
