I'm going out for a meal tonight to celebrate a birthday. Hubby and I have already decided that we're choosing steak, new potatoes and veg or salad. Definitely no chips or onion rings and no pudding either. Something strange is happening to us .........:rotfl::rotfl: I just SO want to see at least a 1 lb loss on Wednesday.

I want a loss every single week (however small) because although I've only lost 5 lbs I am feeling slimmer and my clothes all feel better.

    Hi All

Well done to all the losers :D. Time to 'fess-up, I have had a cr4p few weeks but not even going there :o. I have not been sticking to plan fully, so a 1lb gain last week, I have not done my 30 day shred either.
Medmum, I am like you, I have lost my mojo :( I need to get it back soon as 7 weeks on Friday I am away my holidays:eek: I also think because I have not as much to lose as others that its ok as I will get it off eventually & that is totally the wrong attitude. Also the fact that I don't go to class doesn't help, but I can't go even if I wanted to. Please don't give up, look at what you have achieved so far, and we all enjoy your posts:D

I do try & have things prepared & batch cook so I don't have to cook from scratch when I get in at 6pm, if I don't do that I lose my way. Also the few glasses of wine at night to de-stress has to stop, I shall keep that for the weekends. This weekend however we are going away to a hotel for the weekend with the kids I shall pick the best available options for me

My friends OH has ordered 100 EE days book so I am looking forward to that.

Tried to do BFBM lasted 40 mins then went dizzy I'm really stressing now cos I don't know what's going on and I def know I have put weight on cos I feel really uncomfortable don't know what to do now I thought if I rested for a week I would be fine:(

  • Vicki, resting for a week is great but you have to ease yourself back into it gently otherwise you're obviously going to end up back where you started. You were sick and dizzy before because your body was sending you a message - it's doing the same thing again.

Take it easy honey and stop punishing yourself.

You need to learn moderation hun. Battering your body will not help you long term.
Exercise by all means but please stop half killing yourself.

Well done to everyone who has lost :T

Hey guys - can I join you lovely people?

I have done SW before - and it worked. Then I went back to old habbits and now the weight has settled around my middle again. Strange how that happens when you don't have a plan and follow it!

Well, last time I did SW I found it difficult to attend group classes due to my shift work. So I have decided to give the on-line membership a try this time around. I though that combining that with you guys might help keep me on track. Any thoughts?

Also, I do have some 'bad' food in the fridge, and I cannot think of throwing it all out. My first instinct was to 'join next week'. But that might turn into the week after........ So now I'm thinking, join now, be sensible, eat lots of FF and control as much as I can. But eat up the undesirable foods and don't buy them again! If I had have been thinking about SW at the end of last week I would have catered my shopping list towards what I remember. Oh well....

I have a big birthday coming up in Sept and I'm going to Vegas with friends to celebrate. So I'm hoping that I can ditch a few excess pounds before I go. Have also recently joined a gym and am getting a real kick out of that. I love cooking, so making things from scratch is no problem - only a issue of time due to work. However, I'm not working at the mo and will probably not be back for another 4 weeks - thought I should put that time to good use, get myself into good habbits.

Is it worth paying out for the body magic and FO books?? or is all this info available on-line?? I do still have my old books, although I know that things have changed in the past 4 yrs. Just want to know if the extra £15 is worth it - or if I'm just paying to have 'paper info'.

    Would appreciate your thoughts:D

Hi Scrappie. Welcome to the thread:)

In my first week I used up all the unhealthy foods by syning them.

I go to a group as it makes me stick to the plan. If I did the online stuff I would be tempted to cheat.
I actually like the competitiveness of my class as everyone wants to do well & everyone has a set goal in mind.
