Did anyone watch Secret Eaters last night on Channel 4? I was shocked at how many calories were in the sauces that the daughter was having with her McDonalds. I am terrible with ketchup although I don't have it much now I'm doing SW but it has been a hard habit to break.

I did. I'm addicted to Secret Eaters.
I'm just shocked she really had no idea why she was gaining weight when she was eating chinese for lunch and then McDonald's for dinner. And not just a meal but a large meal AND two cheeseburgers. Wow, I can't imagine why you've gained weight. It's a medical mystery!

I can't believe how stupid the people on it are! I can tell you exactly what I ate today, and when I was heavier I knew precisely why I was heavier - too much crap, not enough F&V. Idiots.

I know!! At the start she was saying how she ate healthy and didn't eat sugar blah blah blah and then she gets an epic McDonalds and washes that down with a couple of Wispas. I just don't get if they are saying it for effect for the programme or if they are seriously that stupid that they think that is healthy food. It's quite sad really that they are in denial that much.

I thought it was meant to be done 30 days consecutively...finished it now done BFBM three times it's soooo hard! That says on the beginning to be done 5 days a week...think that's going to hurt!

I don't think there is any hard and fast rules but from what I've read on fitness sites it should be done 3 times a week. I do know that when weights are involved you should allow your muscles a days rest. So you could do 30 day shred one day and BFBM the next day or swimming or whatever takes your fancy as long as you aren't using weights every day.Doing BFBM is fine every day because no weights are involved. It's whatever works for you of course and it sounds like you have lost the inches. Just be careful you don't over do it though. Although I am no expert.......far from it lol :)

Edited to add: I've just read up a bit more on the subject and Jillian Michaels did a podcast where she said it's intended for 2 days on 1 day off but to do cardio on that day. It makes no difference now because you've completed it but this info might be helpful to others considering doing it.

I do love how the presenter sounds so sarcastic when she asks them if they think they are a medical mystery. And they agree! :rotfl:

:rotfl: One of them will always say "I don't think I eat enough". I don't mean to sound harsh but seriously??

Choc orange mousse sounds lovely. They did scan bran cake at our meeting last week, I can't believe you can eat a whole cake for HeB!
