    somehow...i lost 4lbs!!!

taking me to 5lbs BELOW target :D

so i have to either PUT ON at least 2lbs to get back into target range, or loose another 2lbs to reset,

so i will see what happens this week,

In a week nor two I should be at target weight and Im beginning to realise that
    a) I will miss the thrill of a loss
    b) I will need to gradually introduce some more healthy extras and some treats or life could become terribly dull.
c)OH has called me scrawny and pinched lately...but not said anything nice, I dont think I like him any more!...joking, just.
d)I may have become a bit boring to live with and something of a killjoy about food.
    e) I cant really afford to buy new clothes, but I dont even need to, I just fit back into the ones that had got too small and alter the ones that are too big...but I WANT to shop!

I'm at target too but I keep losing weight! I lost 0.5lbs at WI this morning which takes me to exactly the bottom end of my range. I've really not been sticking to plan this week at all. At least I don't feel I have but I'm so into food optimising that I now cook that way from habit. Today we were given a special book for target members as part of Jubilee celebrations. I haven't read it yet but hopefully it'll be helpful. I'm reluctant to reset my target down to the next 7lbs bracket as I, too, have had the 'scrawny' comments. I think they come from genuine concern but there could be a bit of jealousy in there from some of my larger friends!

On the new clothes front: I've got quite a few bits from chazza shops. I have treated myself to some new things too but I needed 'old' clothes too for just wearing round the house. It's also allowed me to experiment with colour as I had got into the habit of just covering up with loads of black. Going to the CS lets me shop witout costing a fortune. It was a big help when I was going through the sizes too and when they got too big I felt quite virtuous giving them back to the shop!

Today, I've got spag bol planned for dinner:totally SW friendly with loads of veg...maybe I should go to the chippy instead:D

I actually work in a "chazza" shop!
I have bought a few bits and pieces but there are strict rules about staff purchases and often the thing you have your eye on has gone by the time I am allowed to buy it. I also find my new size which is a 10Long in trousers is hard to come by .
I'm being silly today, complaining about things, I think really I am worried about sons exams and daughters dodgy future in the most expensive of the arts to produce so instead I am picking on the little things! I'll stop moaning now.

Afternoon all, late check in today as mad busy with work *sigh*

Well done to Arty, Piglet, Snoopy and anyone I've missed on your losses, great work!
Thanks :) but its took me 3 days to get to this point, and have been harbouring a lot of negative thoughts. Ended up telling my friend about what happened , to which she replied? is he in control? No then why are you worrying about it? I worried for a bit longer, and then wrote myself some questions(:o:o) & it finally twigged *lightbulb*

If you've ever read Geneen Roth, Beyond Chocolate etc. this is the kind of thing they suggest, and it takes months/years to get to the bottom of some things. It's a really positive step, and I'm actually quite envious as I never seem to get to the bottom of anything (except a biscuit tin :rotfl:), something I am still working on... Actually that's a lie, should say something I think about from time to time but not too much as never seem to find anything. It is a long process though, keep at it.

Didn't do the planned walk into work today as was piddling down but doing it tomorrow as OH coming in late, and he's checked the weather for Monday and agreed to accompany me, hurrah! Weather so rubbish that tonight's plan is going to buy another cat feeder for whilst we're away this weekend and then flopping on the sofa watching a film, can't wait :)

    Green for me today:
B: Bran flakes (HEB), milk (HEA)
L: Egg mayo sandwich (HEB & 0.5), strawberries and grapes
T: Pasta with lots of roast veg, passata, cheese (HEA)
S: WW yogurt (which I have decided I don't like very much), Kit Kat (5.5)

Hello all........I am back from our short break, feeling refreshed and raring to get back into SW things. I think I've gained about 3lbs which isn't bad considering I drank 3 bottles of red wine on Saturday night(first drink in almost a year :o ), although I threw most of it back up yuck! And, I ate lots of yummy scrummy food! Kids are still off school for a few more days so will get back to 30 day shred next week but starting from day 1 again. I feel like I need to start from the beginning because I've missed almost 2 weeks due to injury and holiday! So planning 3 days a week of shred, 1 day of banish fat boost metabolism and 2 days swimming.......that's the plan anyway! :p

Vicki, I read through your posts and see you have been over-doing it! Naughty, naughty!!! ;) Seriously though, 3 times a week of shred is plenty...I've always been under the impression that it's meant for 3 days per week and not every day use? Unless I am mistaken of course, in that case I apologise! I would never do exercise like that every day though, your body, especially your muscles needs a day to recover.
  • Liitlest is still ill. Making life hard, eldest and hubby to I think. Life has become a matter of getting through the day and staying sane.
    WI tonight, down another 2.5lb.
13 stone, 1.5lb in 15 weeks. WOOT (and lotsa new dresses to boot) Keep plodding along ladies. Must go... sleep needed (2 hours last night and less the night before)

Sorry ladies - only just noticed this.. it should read 3 stone. 1.5lb - 13 stone in 15 weeks would really be worrying.
It appears that the new antibiotics are working. She's chugging down liquids like theres no tomorrow and scoffing plenty. Fingers crossed. Now just need to sort out the other two :rotfl:

Seems like we are all flying around like loonies at the minute. Must be the weather ;) Welcome to the new peeps!
Great going pigllet and everyone else that I've lost track of....
With regards to all those worried about scrawny just ask yourself if your happy how you look in the mirror. Do those cheek bones rival Grace Jones?:rotfl:
  • my first post on here. Was so chuffed to find this. Feeling really de-motivated as feel I am trying hard and seem to have come to a standstill regarding weight loss. Started in January and have lost 1 stone 11lbs. But in the last 3 weeks it evens out to 1/2lb lost.

    Anyone else had this?

Welcome Jill, are you getting near your target? Is that 1/2lb loss per week or 1/2lb over 3 weeks?
