  • Only a half pound over the 3 weeks. And nowhere near target. Started at 18st 2 and now 16 st 5.5. So long way to go. Got to my target for my birthday last week but I now have a new target for my holiday in Aug and feel I have no chance at this rate. Want to be 15 9.5 by Aug7th.

Welcome jill, we all get disheartened sometimes but just look at what you've acheived already! Wow!:T
Sometimes I believe our systems can get a bit complacent and need a bit of a kick or again we can cut a few corners from familiarity. What I'd suggest:
    • go back and read your book carefully as a reminder
    • make a meal plan/shopping list and then do a food diary of everything that passes your lips in the coming week
    • plan in something different to normal like a few new recipes, some new SSs, different HEXs
    • perhaps plan in a few days of Success Express (two thirds SF) to shake you up a bit
:o if you already do all these things. If you want you can post your daily mealplans on here and we'll take a look and comment if we see anything untoward.

Did anyone watch Secret Eaters last night on Channel 4? I was shocked at how many calories were in the sauces that the daughter was having with her McDonalds. I am terrible with ketchup although I don't have it much now I'm doing SW but it has been a hard habit to break.

I can't believe how stupid the people on it are! I can tell you exactly what I ate today, and when I was heavier I knew precisely why I was heavier - too much crap, not enough F&V. Idiots.
The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.

Have had a really lovely day today. Went for a Spa day with my DD - my treat for all her hard work at Uni. Can't believe I had a full body exfoliation  and hot stone massage. Believe me, I wouldn't have considered doing that pre SW. And as for the disposible undies they give you to wear - no way would I have fitted in them before. Added a facial each and then spent lovely precious time together chatting, swimming etc. So, feeling very pampered and very chuffed.

And I've stayed on plan! How good is that?! ;)

Tonight I made the Paprika Pork One-Pot recipe which was in a recent SW mag. It says it's free on Original so I'm hoping it's also free on EE??

Anyway, I made it more like a casserole rather than doing it on the hob as there were 4 of us to feed tonight and it was wonderful. I have just realised too that I forgot to garnish it with snips of parsley which is still sitting on the drainer!!:D I did some baby new potatoes which I roasted in the oven with frylite.

Dessert was SW mousse (Quark, sugar free jelly and muller yog) and fresh strawberries. Everything was polished off by everyone. :)

Hello all........I am back from our short break, feeling refreshed and raring to get back into SW things. I think I've gained about 3lbs which isn't bad considering I drank 3 bottles of red wine on Saturday night(first drink in almost a year :o ), although I threw most of it back up yuck! And, I ate lots of yummy scrummy food! Kids are still off school for a few more days so will get back to 30 day shred next week but starting from day 1 again. I feel like I need to start from the beginning because I've missed almost 2 weeks due to injury and holiday! So planning 3 days a week of shred, 1 day of banish fat boost metabolism and 2 days swimming.......that's the plan anyway! :p

Vicki, I read through your posts and see you have been over-doing it! Naughty, naughty!!! ;) Seriously though, 3 times a week of shred is plenty...I've always been under the impression that it's meant for 3 days per week and not every day use? Unless I am mistaken of course, in that case I apologise! I would never do exercise like that every day though, your body, especially your muscles needs a day to recover.

I thought it was meant to be done 30 days consecutively...finished it now done BFBM three times it's soooo hard! That says on the beginning to be done 5 days a week...think that's going to hurt!
