hello folks :) Not posted in here before but started SW last thursday with my other half :)

I have briefly done it before but only for a couple of weeks - bad time to try to be honest, head wasn't in it, felt I "should" rather than wanting to.. but now? Now we're both ready, and doing it together.

Just as well we're properly up for it really, seeing as we have 20st between us to lose...
    On the up :D
    Our wedding day! 13/06/15
  • Been out of touch since Thursday as it was a long weekend and religious holiday. That all means lots and lots of food and despite all my good intentions I really fell big time off the wagon. Someone mentioned 7000 cals without thinking about it - I'm sure I easily consumed that and more each day this weekend - disgusting I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So just caught up on all your news -

Thanks for the links Rainbow and Evilsquid - the FatFetish one didn't work but the SecretEaters did.

G&B well done on a wonderful result - you so deserve it and I hope you actually got a chance to celebrate before your DD got sick. I hope she's doing better now but worried that they had to take her into hospital so looking forward to hearing that all's well.

Lalamb well done on your loss and glad you're not going anywhere - was a bit disappointed to read that you were considering giving up.

Pennylane I'm just like you - I want instant gratification - if I diet one day and don't see the scale go down I'm ready to give up!!!! I'm throwing out the scales at the end of this week. I'll be weighing in at the local pharmacy on the 1st and then not again until the 1st of July. Lalamb was disappointed by going up and down the same pound but with this week's loss she's averaging more than a pound a week and I'm sure some of us get too obsessed with the scales on a weekly basis.

Vicki glad to hear that your little one is improving and hope that she's now over the worst.

Well done to all the other losers - keep up the great work.

    Hi all,

Another beautiful day :D Hope everyone had a good weekend (have only caught up on a couple of pages so far). Well done to the losers out there, and hope those with sick relatives see an improvement soon if they haven't already.

We didn't go to any bbqs (which is probably good for the diet) as had tons of DIY to do. Shoulders aching a little today from stripping wallpaper and heaving bags of old tiles around so may have sneaked a bit of body magic in there too :) Didn't get to walk home on Thurs (damn blister) but since OH is away all week I'm considering walking to and from work (8 mile round trip) a couple of days this week.

WI tonight. Have been good so hoping for a decent loss. Did a bit of a fake bbq on Sat, i.e. grilled some Joe's sausages and home made burgers, made a big salad and ate them in the garden :rotfl: Doing a taster evening at class tonight so I've made Thai sweetcorn cakes- did make 20 little ones but thanks to OH there are only 12 left (ok, I had a couple too!)

    Today - EE
B: Weetabix (HEB), milk (HEA), banana
L: Tuna nicoise salad (1 for olives)
T: Burgers L/O from Sat, ketchup (1), L/O new potatoes, salad
S: Strawberries, raspberries, Greek muller (0.5), options (2), Polar bar (6)

Have a good day peeps :)
